this hotel and restaurant is beautifully furnished in georgian style and antiques. room stayed in was large and characterful, with good amenities, and a view over the incredibly cute and stylish courtyard. i also ate in the restaurant and the menu is great, with a good selection of meat and fish. and the english breakfast was perfect. staff are friendly and helpful and so looking forward to staying again

Pleasant hotel with nicely presented rooms. It's an old building so being 6' the low height of some of the door frames was an issue.
Breakfast was nice though no veggie option was available.
Only complaint would be fellow guests making too much noise shouting in the early hours. Not the fault of the hotel though.

Wonderful room in great old inn. Decor excellent and in keeping with age of building. Bathroom quite modern and very well appointed. Sleigh bed was comfortable, but a little short ( I am 6'2"). Breakfast was good with good choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

been in this hotel a number of times... love the old style and also the full english breakfast...
but if you stay in the main house you will have quite a bit of noise when people pass by your room. So try to get a quieter room on the opposite side of the main house and you will not regret it

Room Tip: opposite side of main house

This coaching Inn is what it says an Inn, traditional in all respects, homely, clean with great food. The building itself is very old and the buildings form a courtyard which is beautifully kept with seating outdoors for summer use. The bedroom we were given was at the top of the building in the main house and was old but comfortable with a perfect view over the courtyard.
The food was lovely and we found eating in the snug bar was friendly. The Inn does have a restaurant but it lacked the charm that the other room had so ate in the bar.
Breakfast was more than satisfactory with everything on offer you could want. Will stay again if the opportunity arises. A little piece of old England!

Room Tip: Room with a courtyard view.

We had a lovely stay here last weekend in one of the four poster rooms. It has so much character from the exterior courtyard to the rooms, the restaurant and bar and even the staff have character! especially the Scottish chef Willie and his fellow scot Tom who assists in the Kitchen. All the staff were very good and nothing was too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant in the evening as we had made other plans but from what we saw and overheard other guests saying it all sounded very good indeed. We did have breakfast and I have to say it was one of the best we have had for a long time. So much choice and everything was cooked fresh to order and was excellent, we did not eat anything else until late in the evening as we were so full. The bar is cosy and the prices are quite good for a hotel. Our room was lovely and comfortable with everything we needed and we had a very good nights sleep in the four poster bed. We will certainly come back here again as it was so nice and there is a lot of history in Lutterworth, and we will do the tourist trail next time. I recommend the Greyhound for either a lovely stay ,a meal or even just a drink, you will want to come back again just like us.
