Went for a family trip to dibrugarh. Stayed in Natraj for 2 days. Good ambience and very helpful staff . Did not expect good services from this sleepy town; but club rooms are at par with any other star hotel in india. Complimentary breakfast though average was warm and good. Typical assamese cuisine available. Location in the middle of the city centre.....accessible movie hall , market , restaurant..........Recommendable for family.

Room Tip: Choose the executive suites

Recently visited this small town of Assam for my business trip. Was really surprised with this property.Never expected that could find such star hotel at small place like Dibrugarh.Property is excellent and well maintained. Rooms are designed with good interior and spacious.Toiletries provided was also excellent.Tea/Coffee maker in room with good size of Bath Room.Staff is trained and know their job well.Could able to meet with owner of this property and he is also very down to earth person and impressed me.So finally got the best choice to stay at Dibrugarh.
This property has two wings old and new.I stayed at New wing.
They have budget option at old wing.
Breakfast and wifi and mineral water was complementary.
So really an excellent Boutique hotel.Location is also excellent in the heart of city and just walking distance from Railway Station Dibrugarh Town.

Room Tip: Rooms in new wings are excellent.

We stayed for a night in the new wing. The management has taken pains to create a comfortable living experience for travellers. As the town is famous for tea gardens, it has a steady influx of business travellers. For them, Natraj is the place. The breakfast served was piping hot and a good variety of items were placed before us. The airconditioning was excellent. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to DBR. Ask for a room in the new wing.

Room Tip: New wing is the place

Our family of 4 stayed here on the last day of our 16 day tour of the NE. The hotel is located in a predominantly Marwari business area on a busy street right in the middle of a market area. As a result it is noisy and the area tends to be dusty and chaotic. There is a Coffee Day on the ground floor which makes for an interesting ambience.
The hotel itself is an old one which has been renovated with a modern addition to the front. One enters into the modern part of the building which is really nice. Our room was in the old part of the hotel which was fairly tired looking. Although we had a third floor room, it was accessed by going to the second floor of the new wing and taking a small flight of stairs into the adjoining old block. Our room was neat and clean with two beds. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helped us get settled and joined the beds together and put an extra bed for one of our kids.
The bathroom was clean but had an ultra tiny water heater/geyser which hardly gave a small bucket of hot water (for which we were grateful after a long journey).
The restaurant on the ground floor seemed like the best restaurant in Dibrugarh, with wood flooring and nice furniture was looking already very old due to the bad maintenance. At dinner, the food was overpriced and not terribly tasty.
The complimentary buffet breakfast had limited items (like killer rock hard idlis) and made to order omelettes and white bread. The food quality was overall average and expensive.
Being the last day of our trip this was a great hotel to land into as we could pack our bags by procuring packing materials from the nearby market.
One definite highly recommended not to miss activity is watching the sunset on the banks of the nearby Brahmaputra. There is a slum right on the banks and walking a little further West along the bank gives a great vantage point.

Not a special hotel, just an another hotel. I stayed there in a deluxe room for 1 night in the month of October-2013, rooms are OK but not so specious, however, it was a double bed but partition has been given which is not acceptable. Complementary breakfast is being provided by the hotel which is sufficient and varaities are also there and transport facility for drop/receiving the passengers. Suitable for short trips.

I travel to Dibrugarh for short trips and in these trips, I stay at Hotel Natraj. The new wing is fine for business stay, while the old wing can be avoided. It is situated in midst of market and hence one can do bit of shopping if interested.
Negative Points :
Hot water is not available
Breakfast spread is very limited

Overall looking at various options in Dibrugarh, Natraj is recommended.

Room Tip: Stay in the new wing
