“Better Than I Expected!”
Reviewed 2 August 2013

As soon as we parked the car, we had several women trying to sell us a sarong. They were very persistent! You don't need to buy a sarong because they let you borrow one. If they had not been so persistent, I would have been interested in looking because they were offering them for $.50 each. I felt that the stairs leading down to the temple were very large (and I have long legs). But once you get down into the valley, it's beautiful! I wasn't expecting the streams running through. There is one area that you have to take your shoes off to enter. The paid restroom at the entrance is pretty awful - very low toilet, no toilet seat, no toilet paper and no soap.

“One of my favourite temples!”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

I have visited this sight twice now and love it! A Very beautiful and peaceful place with amazing views - not to be missed. Lots of stalls line the many steps to the complex so you can break up your climb back with a bit of bartering! Stop at the cafe at the top for a drink while taking in the lovely view.

“Spiritual travelling”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

When you travelling in tampak siring area, Don't forget to visit this place. You can see the big statue near the temple. From the front, you need to walk around 900M to the temple. Nice land view, when you want to visit the temple. They will borrow you a shawl, and you need to use it.

really don't miss it. awesome !

“Beautiful ancient place, bit of a walk!”
Reviewed 21 July 2013

On arrival you will be greeted with hundreds of women forcing sarongs in your face. If you want to buy one you can get a pretty good deal and they get cheaper as you walk towards the temple. If, on the other hand, like me, you do not want to purchase one then don't. They are given free to you to borrow whilst visiting so ignore what the women selling them say about you NEEDING to buy one. Once you arrive there are hundreds of dubious steps downward to navigate which can be quite slippery. Most should be able to manage it - just don't bring granny. They trek is definitely worth it though as at the bottom there are some quite magnificent photo opportunities. Then you must begin the return journey..
