My wife and I just spent a weekend at this beautifully renovated small hotel. As we love to combine a decent dayhike with decent but authentic luxury, we went looking in the surroundings of St.-Hubert. And we found our spot.
The 16th century former hospital has been beautifully renotvated by the hosts. Right as you step in, it is clear that the owners have both an eye for authenticity as well as detail. The same thing goes for their efforts to make your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
Our room, he chapel room, was really a gem.
The restaurant is really top, both what comes up your plate as well as what surrounds your table. Very cosy fireplace too.
One small downside is the location: the crossroads of two very busy roads. So to provide you lightsleepers with a good night's rest: bring earplugs!
