I stayed here for 8 nights in a standard room for a snowboard holiday and was surprised by how PERFECT it was. There was someone waiting to pick us up from the bus as we came off. The room was sorted out quick and easily. All the facilities were great. The 'queen bed' was actually 2 king singles put together so took up most of the room so there wasn't much space to walk around (not really an issue). Plenty of hot water. There is a heater in the room if you get cold. There is a hair dryer, toothbrush/razors and shampoo/conditioner etc.

BEST LOCATION (opposite 1 of the only supermarkets in town and the bus station) and only 2 mins walk to the ski lift plus and max 5 mins to all the good restaurants/bars. The room for your skis/snowboards are conveniently on the ground floor so you can leave your skis before you head up to your room (you can get a key to lock them or just leave them there) and the drying locker room is on the basement level which has plenty of room for 2 people (although could do with some shelves inside the lockers). Whenever we left our things in the locker overnight, they would be dry the next morning.

Buffet breakfast was excellent!!! Consisted of hot foods (sausage, eggs, bacon, noodles/rice, steamed veggies, hash browns), pastries (croissants, danishes, chocolate filled pastries etc), continental (cereals, yoghurt, bread that can be toasted), and you can request waffles, pancakes and fried eggs for free. There is also fruits and a variety of drinks (tea/coffee/juices). I always looked forward to the breakfast!

The staff are all very helpful. They called and booked massages for us when requested and made it really easy to get information about buses etc. The staff all have excellent english. The complimentary slippers are nice too!

Excellent value for money and would definitely come back

Some guests may have more fancier accommodations in mind when comparing with M Hotel but my stay was very good, the hotel sorted out my airport transfers (the 2.5 hour drive is not so bad in a roomy warm van with the occasional deer poking through the snow fields to keep one entertained), an adequate breakfast of warm food, cereals and fresh fruit all provided, fairly spacious rooms for Japanese standards and convenient location with their own Monty's bar adjoined to the hotel.
I would recommend this place especially for people looking for longer term stays as there is plenty of storage shelves in the rooms, a microwave and quite big fridge to make a meal of whatever convenience food from the nearby marts.
Staff were friendly and spoke english, most of them not being locals but from english speaking countries.
In an expensive place during peak season, this hotel doesn't have all the frills but provides more than enough for a comfy stay.
Tip: if you are a tofu lover ask the staff about a little tofu shop next to a natural spring. Best tofu I've ever had there with plenty of free samples and apparently if you drink from the spring you'll look 5 years younger! Need a car/taxi to get there though.

We had a standard room for 7 nights.
Pluses: Very clean, great breakfast, wonderful considerate staff, good ski storage area, centrally located with 2 supermarkets within 2 min walk/ bus to skifield 1 min away, although std rooms are small, they are well fitted out with ample storage shelving, microwave and fridge/ separate freezer.
Minuses: 15 min walk to ski fields, and buses (free) at peak times can involve a 15 min wait, bed a little hard, no heated boot storage room, meaning that boots needed to be taken back to room.
Our booking was part of an all inclusive package so we cannot comment on value for money.

A found the hotel very clean and the amenities were satisfactory. The bed was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever not slept in. It was clear the order went to the cheapest bidder. I found the services very basic with the reception desk not always attended but each of the staff members were polite. The breakfast was quite plain but it did the job. I did ask for a second pillow but was rejected which was a little disappointing. Transfers to and from the welcome centre were very efficient. The location to the action in the village was perfect. Realistically, we were there for the snow quality and the village atmosphère, not a fancy hotel. But the bed was my biggest disappointment.

This is more of an upscale bed & breakfast then a hotel. Pluses: good location for skiing in Niseko, new property, good WiFi, friendly English speaking staff, comfortable rooms. Minuses: no reception or staff working between 23:00 & 07:00 (real safety concern) lobby door locked at 23:00 - must have a unique 6 digit alpha/numeric code to unlock, if you forgot the code, you have to wait outside in the freezing cold for another guest to come, no telephones in rooms, no daily room cleaning, towels or linen - only by request. You are expected to carry out your own garbage daily to bins located in the corridor, buffet breakfast average - no Asian dishes. Expected full service hotel amenities for the prices charged, but received way less. Would look for better value next trip !

The hotel is overpriced, the service is mediocre BUT the location is great, the ski rack and ski lockers are nice and it's nice that there is a small gym. Lots of great restaurants and bars are right on your door step, the ski rental shops and the buses for the slopes (we walked up the hill but it was hard work in ski boots) are very close to the hotel.

I would label this hotel as a 3 on it's way to being a 4 star. The staff are very young and given that they didn't seem to be that familiar with the village itself, we got the impression that they were mainly in their first season. Only one staff member was helpful with restaurant recommendations. The reception staff spent quite a bit of time in the little control room instead of being on the reception desk. They would also take their breakfast from the breakfast room in front of some of the guests. My personal view is that the staff should eat in the kitchen and/or outside of the breakfast time of the guests. I wanted to ask a question but I couldn't see anyone on the reception desk so I went to the control room but I was forced to turn and walk away. One of the girls' was bending over in full view of the front door but she was not wearing underwear and her bare bum was on display. In short, the hotel does not use the most professional or experienced staff.

Aspects of the hotel have recently been refurbished (eg. the first floor) which is nice. Having said this, the hotel lacks ambience and charm. It's functional. The rooms are very basic (typically for ski resort accommodation) although the power of the shower head was fantastic. We did not find the hotel beds comfortable, they are quite firm. The breakfast was quite bad on the first day with most things being overcooked or burnt but it got better after that. Having said this, the coffee was quite poor throughout.

There are a few other options in Niseko that I would look at before staying here again but this is a decent option for a short ski trip.
