We stopped here on our way from the border in Tanzania to Nairobi. From the outside it certainly looked more like a 'western' hotel than any other we had seen in town. The room we were in was accessed via an open balcony. Price-wise it was not expensive and we went for the upgrade as the receptionist told us the standard rooms were 'tiny'.
The restaurant is effectively next door. Breakfast is included and was unusual to our tastes, a combination of different foods such as omelete, frankfurter, samosas, sauted veg, pieces of fruit and some other things we didn't identify. African porridge available.
Advertised as WiFi included we found that one laptop picked up the WiFi, the other did not - however it worked well in the restaurant and reception areas.
Shower was hot.
However the decor is tired and the bathroom in particular needs some updating.
