    Not that cheap - but worth it!

    When choosing a place to stay in Tobago we found a number of various places (and cheaper ones too) with a usual set of reports: + and - .
    But we were really intrigued by Native Abode because there were only good and excellent reports on it! We decided to try it and were awarded with a place that indeed leaves not a hint of negative.
    The only minor inconvenience is remoteness from the sea front (20 min by foot to Store Bay beach), but it may be compensated by tranquility of the surrounding - a trully country-house atmosphere in a comfortable room with lots of frills.

    The experience was as if I was in my own home.

    The name Native Above truly depicts the ambience and locale. It is a small hotel nestled in the village. You can see the fruit trees, lovely garden, a hen crossing the road with six young chicks in tow, a rooster's crowing early in the morning ... truly a native experience. Breakfast was another special experience ... especially the sweet potato and tania punches. Thank you Kay, Steve and Stephanie for a wonderful experience.

    Beautiful Room

    Had a great stay but only for two nights. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to Tobago. Excellent service and yummy breakfast at a reasonable price.

    Absolutely wonderful stay at Native Abode *thank you!*

    Can't stop gushing about how wonderful this place is - top, top fund and we are so glad we booked/stayed here.
    Rooms were gorgeous, service had all the professionalism of a top hotel with the warm, personal touch of feeling at home. Kay, the owner is an amazing host - thank you for making our trip! We just felt so at home there without compromising on service or any standards, wow.

    This is a very special place and I wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else in Tobago. Hands down, fabulous.

    Very highly recommended.

    Great Service, Clean rooms, and excellent breakfast

    I travelled to Tobago to visit a friend and chose Native Abode because of the great reviews. Kaye picked me up from the airport, brought me down to the beach and even returned me to the airport for an early Monday morning flight. The service was great and breakfast was excellent (be sure to try the punches - carrot and sweet potato was my favorite). You can choose your menu items and time of service, which made for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are cozy, clean and quiet. The location is good if you are not looking for ocean front or a pool. It was the perfect stay and reasonably priced.

    Also there was unlimited free calls to the US which was an added bonus for me.
