I was part of a 7 person scuba diving trip to Tobago. We stayed in a 4 bedroom unit at Sandy Point. The room was quite nice and spacious but there were way too many rules. Our boat captain had offered to come cook us dinner one night and we had invited the divemaster but he was not allowed to join us because it was 9:03 pm when he arrived and "the rules" state that no one is allowed to enter the premises after 9 pm.
We were also called at midnight to be told that we had to ask our boat captain/cook to leave because "the rules" state that we couldn't have visitors after midnight. We were a group of mature/quiet adults trying to enjoy a homecooked Tobagan dinner.....not a bunch of rabble rousing teenagers and so these 'rules' were quite irritating. Next time, I'd rather stay somewhere where we have the freedom to entertain as we wish.
