This is a lovely spot, quite quiet and a few minutes walk outside of the town itself but the building is very beautiful. For those (like us) who arrive on motorbikes - the road outside is a safe (and level) place to leave the bikes.
We took two rooms on the first floor, my friends taking the bigger 'suite' and us taking the smaller (but perfectly charming) blue room at the rear .......my only advice is not to flush the loo in the middle of the night - it makes a racquet!
The sitting room is lovely and we sat there chatting after returning from the restaurant - unfortunately we didn't realise there were other guests staying - so apologies to the two french chaps who were in the second floor room who we may have disturbed!
