We stayed here at the recommendation of a distant Swedish cousin due to its reputation for good food as well as its proximity to ancestral locations in and around Bosjökloster and Höör. Having flown in to Copenhagen, it was an easy and interesting drive across the Øresund Bridge and through Skåne - probably an hour and a half from the airport.
The hotel has a very pleasant setting on the side of Östra Ringsjön. When we were there in the spring, the many lilacs were in full bloom and beautiful.
Our room was simple and we used a shared bathroom and shower down the hall. The stairs to our second floor room (no elevator) were a bit narrow and winding which made schlepping heavy bags to the room a bit of a chore.
Meals were excellent if a bit pricy by U.S. standards. The owner/manager was most helpful in directing us to local sites (and helping us pronounce unpronounceable Swedish locations) and on our late return one night, had set out a pot of coffee and cookies.
