“Wonderful - You'll wish you had booked longer”

My boyfriend and I booked Crocodile Bridge because we planned to self drive around Kruger and we liked the idea of cooking in a communal area and meeting new peoples. What we got was so much more.
Both of us still hadn't received our luggage from the airline so turned up in Jeans and Hoodies (After travelling from a very frosty UK) and had bare minimum with us. We were greeted by a very friendly Dave who checked us in and told us a little bit about how the place worked.
The room was lovely - Air con, big comfy bed, the tent had mosquito nets on the outside, the shower was ridiculously beautiful and the entire thing was so comfy. When we opened our door the first thing we see if crocodile river and there is always elephant walking past the fence. We had seen elephant, buffalo and hippo before we had even headed in to the park. At dinner time we bough our own alcohol and food, the Brie was lit and ready to go and everyone came together in the evening to cook there dinner. Lorry (Sorry if that's spelt wrong) had made and put out sides like bread and salad and we sat round a large table sharing our stories and tips for driving around the park.
Dave, Bruce, Lorry and Isla are a fantastic help with all things Kruger - The gate is 2 mins away from the lodge and they advise you on some routes to take and some places to stop for coffee. In the evening they have their torches out and during the day binoculars and always point out what they can see. The knowledge alone is worth coming for :-) They also helped with sun cream, hats and emergency items until our bags showed up. Isla even kindly lent me moisturiser.
Was wonderful experience and I would highly recommend staying here. Hope we can go back one day. (P.S Dave we never did find those pesky lions lol )

“Convenient, well managed”
Reviewed 31 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Clean, neat and tidy accommodation in tented units. The units are a bit close to each other. We enjoyed our 1 night stay over on our way to Mozambique. The self catering facilities are communal however not in each unit. Close to the entrance to the Kruger Park. Staff are friendly.
