So, it starts off being a bit poorly signposted, the taxi man had to pass it twice before we read the sign... To say the hotelis colourful is an understatement, there is colour everywhere, I mean everywhere... As other people have said you will either love this hotel or hate it... I thought it was very cheery and made me smile...

I booked a bungalow by the pool and was shown my room by one of the helpful staff. I inspected my back garden which was a good size and had grass with two sun loungers outside, great in the hotter months ...

After being left for around 30 minutes someone knocked at the door to check if I needed anything else for my room, as I didn't I was rewarded with some chocolates! A lot of thought has gone into the hotel in terms of the detail and not just the colours...

I ate in the restaurant and this was a nice meal and average prices.

Thinking hard to find a negative or two, I would say that the hotel did not seem full, maybe the pricing is in need of a tweak to reflect the economic climate currently....and the bathroom lends itself to the shower always leaking due to the design...it just made for the bathroom floor to be soaking wet for ages until it dried...

All in all a great hotel, I shall certainly be back and would recommend it and challenge you not to grin when you are staying here, it gives ou a warm feeling...

We stayed at the Semiramis for the second time this weekend. The first time we were there as a couple in a standard room. This time we stayed with our 1.5-year-old in one of the penthouse suites, which is the only room type suitable for a couple with one or two kids.

Overall our stay was great, with awesome food, friendly/polite/helpful service and an amazing atmosphere if the design of the hotel is of one's taste.

The only minuses of this, otherwise great, hotel are the following:
- The swimming pool closes at 19h00, as the pool area is then converted into a bar/restaurant. Not great, especially if you have a toddler who loves water. On the plus side, early in the afternoon the sun moves to the other side of the hotel, so the pool area is shaded by the building. This is good if you have young children like we do, but I guess not so great if you don't.
- The wireless internet connection was touch and go for the duration of our two-day stay. Signal strength fluctuated continuously and my iPad kept disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. This is something the hotel must address.
- The penthouse suites are great in terms of space, layout, amenities etc., but the air con was too noisy, even in the lowest fan setting, especially in the living room area.
- There was a constant humming noise with a slight vibration, most probably coming from the central unit of the building's air con system.
- Our room was at at the front of the hotel, which is on a very busy street of the area. Even double glazing could not keep out the noise of passing cars and motorbikes.
- Room service was much slower than expected (e.g. about 30mins to bring up two coffees and a juice)

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool (applies for all room categories). It...

Stayed here for one night recently on a work trip and was impressed by the place. Good location close to a few bars and resteraunts and nice helpful atmosphere in the hotel.

Room was ok size but clean and modern. Free WiFi good and air conditioning worked well which is a must!

Pool area good and a pleasant spot to eat breakfast of a morning. Would recommend the place.

Very convenient location to restaurants and boutiques, the property is modern, spacious with natural light. A low rise building so windows open which is a pleasant change! The restaurant is spacious with a good buffet breakfast, gym is small with Cybex equipment and for open 24 hours and the pool looked great!, Good in room complimentary toiletries. great service and the staff are very helpful.

Room Tip: I stayed at the end of the corridor, room on the side of the property

I spent 4 weeks in this hotel and I can say that it's quite different from a common hotel. First of all, it's pink and gree everywhere! The design is quite weird and either you love it or you hate it.
The rooms are tinny, but with nice balconies.
The breakfast and the room service is just ok, with a small variety of things that you can try.
The laundry service is outsourced, which means that your clothes have to go outside the hotel facilities and they are returned during the next evening. If it's raining, your clothes will probably get wet.
The hotel can also be noisy, due to the number of parties that they normally have in the ground floor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back and you will have a room with a pool view and with less noise in the even...

i've stayed here for about 50 nights over the last 18 months and it is the best hotel in the area by far.
funky and modernm with pink, lime and organe everywhere plus rooms with no numbers!

My criticism is more down to location, the locals speed up and down the road all ngiht and can often wake you up.....
