“Wonderful restaurant at the Marina”
Reviewed 12 March 2013

We have eaten twice at El Coleguita's and will certainly be back. The service is excellent and the food wonderful and plenty. You get fish soup to start, free tequila shots, a great selection of food and dessert for about $11.00. Our table of four each had something different and it was all hot and more than we could eat. The drinks are huge and very inexpensive. We will add this as a must to go whenever we are in PV.

“A hidden gem...”
Reviewed 8 March 2013

We went for a dinner the other night and were amazed at the quality, portion size (significant) and value. The tequila shot to start was a bonus but the food was fantastic, all four of us ordered different plates and ended up sharing so others could sample.

After a great meal and marguarita's we were pleasantly surprised how low the bill total was, bext value in the area by far with QUALITY food and great service.

“Lively fun & good food!”
Reviewed 4 March 2013

Six of us went to this place last evening; we'd heard great things for years, but had never gone before. Wow - it was packed with both gringos and Mexican locals and the energy is high, with the wait staff running around delivering enormous margaritas and huge platters seafood.

The menu is extensive with everything you would expect to find at a Mexican seafood specialty restaurant - all the standards are there, well-prepared and in generous servings at reasonable prices.

Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and felt the prices were good. I had coconut shrimp and it had about 13-14 nice sized prawns on the plate with rice and veggies for 119 pesos (this dish is often 200 pesos+ at other restaurants).

My one minor quibble would be that our dinners came out sporadically and spaced quite far apart. First one person was served, then two more dinners came out about 10 minutes after that (meaning all 3 men had been served!), and we three ladies had to wait another 10 minutes or so before our entrees started to arrive. This place is unpretentious with a family-style vibe, so you take it for what it is. Good, hot, quality seafood, well-priced. We'll be going back for sure.

“Lots of food and family atmosphere”
Reviewed 15 January 2013

We have been going here several times each season and the Filete del Mar--fish filet wrapped in shrimp and surrounded with bacon--three of them on one platter! continues to be my favorite. The 50 peso margaritas are gigantic and the complimentary tequila bottle on the table adds a bit more strength if you need it. This place has been known as the "109" as most everything is 109 pesos. This week it became the "119". It is the best bargain in the area.

“Get the aguachiles”
Reviewed 6 January 2013

Delicious- you need to split the entrees with your couple though. Everything is in huge portions. I had aguachiles- shrimp marinated like ceviche. Shrimp empanadas were delicious but huge. This is where the locals go. Get a Michelada if you are hungover!
