I was at this casual restaurant a few months back with a large party of local folks and knew at that time that I had to return to see if was as good as it was that evening.
Went back again (as promised) and the best way to describe it is WOW, what a neat place even in the light of day. Evening is best to be sure as the lighting against the old clay brick walls in enthralling and certainly adds to the ambience.
There were four of us and we ordered two large pizzas and soft drinks (although they're licensed) but being just after new year's eve ... soft drinks were the order of the day. The pizzas "created" and cooked in the brick oven are by far the best on the north shore of the bay ... sorry to everyone else, but they are that good.
The service was very good, attentive and extremely timely. The waitress knew the menu inside out and offered to "split" the toppings on the pizzas if we wished. No real surprize there, everyone does it, but was the way she said it. Our drink orders arrived quickly and only about ten minutes before our meal. That was complete with a lovely chimichuri salsa.
I would highly reccomend that you take a trip to Casa Hule in La Cruz. Very easy to find ... right on Langosta (the main drag) and just down, toward the water, from the taxi stand by the highway.
