To start on a positive note: the views were great, the wifi excellent and the rooms were clean.
Everything else was right out of Fawlty Towers. The hot water didn't work until 48 hours after we arrived, the bedrooms had no doors, the handle for the bathroom came off in my hands and after it was 'fixed' the door required a strong man to close. One of the pools was empty (in the last week of May). Although the furniture and appliances were new the apartment looked like it had been constructed and fitted out by a drunk one-armed schoolgirl. I have never seen a poorer standard of doorways, painting, skirting boards or plastering. The photos convey a high-end quality appearance but this is far from reality. The older part of the "resort" may have been of better quality but the "newer" part where we stayed is still under construction. These things didn't really affect the quality of our stay, but for aus$200 per night you expect better. Our host Boban was friendly enough but ultimately unable to fix the problems.
There was a cafe/bar but never seemed to be staffed. The "spa resort" name is justified by there being a small gym, salon and massage rooms. We didn't try these but they are far from offering the experience they aspire to.
