You really need to drive around on the peninsula: we saw lots of baboons, austriches and rooiboks. The Cape itself is nice of course but very crowdy: a busload of tourists is being dropped every 10 minutes ... There is a nice walk down from the firetower to the Cape; the problem however is going back up again ...

I love this part of the world. God created this in his own image. Stunning and quite. Would love to camp there for one night.

Great views.Partcularly impressed by the aerial abilibilties of the Cape Comerant which nest on the sheer cliffs.Try and visit on a clear sunny day-we were lucky for the first part of our visit but the weather hanged very quickly-not pleasant

There is nothingt really to say, it was so beautiful. We walked up to the light house and back and the views were amazing.

The trip to Cape Point is quite long, it's about 90minutes from Cape Town central; more if you stop at Boulders along the way. And the entrance fee is excessively costly! But the natural beauty in terms of wildlife, fynbos, and exquisite views make it worth considering!

Be warned, though, it's usually windy there, even if calm in Cape Town. And keep away from baboons, please do NOT feed or entice them!
