“Stunning... Just Stunning”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

Not only is it thrilling to be able to stand so far south..... the surf, the mountains, the cloud formations.... All amazing..
The day we were there it was extremely high surf... the waves were unbelievable... I have never seen waves like that....
If you're visiting Cape Town..... it's definitely worth a trip out to see the sea... climb to the lighthouse.... Enjoy the wild beauty.

“Picnic in The "Tip" of Africa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014 via mobile

The entrance is expensive but after you have completed your visit, you realize that this is a very vast attraction which requires to be maintained. One can make this a days outing and not try and squeeze it in as part of seeing other nearby attractions. Like all good things in Cape Town, choose a day where the weather is perfect as this will give you a chance to go and picnic on one of the beach areas, no swimming of course unless you have a death wish to die from brain freeze, after all this is where the cold Atlantic Ocean starts. The drive feels like you could be driving to the South Pole as you drive along a narrow path. Although there are claims that this may not be the southern most of Africa, the drive makes you feel like it is. Enjoy a lovely day of scenery and a picnic

“Lands End”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

lovely place to relax, unwind and see what the end of the world looks like. Take care of the Baboons, they do not spare your food and will grab anything edible in site. take the Funicular ride up and enjoy a walk down...gives you the excuse to enjoy a chilled beer at the cafe after that
