We've just returned from our vacation in Sarti, Sithonia. We stayed at Theodora Haus and enjoyed the fact that we were closed to the beach, with sun-beds and umbrellas.
In front of us we had the beach bar managed by the same very nice people that own the hotel. Their attitude towards the customers, the welcoming and the desire to make you feel comfortable are, by far, the most remarkable for this hotel.
Around a 50-100 meters area you can find here anything you want: taverns, restaurants, observation point, shops, church etc.
The studio is large, with 3 beds, clean, with mini-kitchen, AC and TV. There is a large balcony towards the sea. We recommend asking for a room on the last floor but not no 9 (the one we had) for 2 reasons:
- it is in front of an electric wire post that ruins part of your view and attracts a lot of little happy birds that start to sing early morning :)
- It is in the corner of the building, with "access" to 2 streets that increase the morning noise.
The only con's we had for this location were:
- very loud noise in the morning caused by garbage machine, church bells, supply cars, little birds etc; because of this we had to sleep with all windows closed (though we prefer to have them open in the summer) but still we woke-up around 7-8 a.m.
- Water supply in the evening (around 7-8 p.m. when everybody came from the beach) sometimes came to an end and caused periods with no water access, despite the high provisions of water they have,
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and even after visiting every evening the entire resort of Sarti, we still consider that we made a very good choice.
