“Great day out”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Its a small zoo but its intimate clean and you get close to the animals, the keepers are great and talk to you the cafe was very good with everything cooked to order and well priced, We expected to visit for an hour or so and ended up there nearly 4 hrs what with the play areas the reptile show, pony rides lunch and of course the walk around the animals it made it a great day out my grand daughter of 5 loved it. I think older kids ( teenagers) might find it boring. They have plans and started work on expanding it by 6 Acres with some lions coming. I look forward to returning there next time im in the area.

“Friendly place that does their best”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Visited as not much else on in the area! Nice range of animals you can get close too, a little smelly and cramped in some areas. Has the feel of a family run place. May not be interesting enough for some kids and i would have been happier had it been a few pounds cheaper. Little expensive for what we saw, however i undersand how this place runs and that they are doing what they can in a quiet area.

“A Family Friendly Zoo with Real Personality!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

My 7 year old son and I had a great day here. A wide variety of interesting animals, many of whom were (amazingly) abandoned pets. You can tell the animals are well loved. Our highlights were the talkative cockatoo, and the reptile show, where we stroked a boa constrictor and a bearded dragon, as well as meeting many other reptiles. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and there is a cafe too. It is an easy walk from Borth train station. We walked from Brynowen Holiday Park. My son also loved having a ride on a Shetland Pony called Buddy. Oh, and the meerkats were brilliant too! There just isn't enough room on here to cover everything! Highly recommended.

“Cute little zoo”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

For a zoo, that is poorly located for customers, it's great! More people need to visit this zoo, they have some fantastic animals and is worth every penny admittance! Highly recommended for family's with children.
