Recent new owners are making a go of this. I visited Borth many times over the last 30 years so have seen all the changes, many not for the best, But have to say new owners are making a go of the Vic and deserve support for doing so. The food is now easily the best option in the village. Had the best fish of my trip here this time - even saw it delivered fresh the same day - rare not to be frozen these days. Anyone investing in this way in the village should be commended and supported. Understand they plan to expand the back section this year as well. The existing renovations have made this a comfy choice anyway. Well kept beer - my "best in Borth" at the moment.

My family stayed in Borth when visiting Aberystwyth Uni - great choice! After a walk along the seafront we had a lovely evening meal at this welcoming pub. Although we had a bit of a wait for the meal as we were advised of this when we ordered it was less of an issue. The meal when it arrived was really well cooked and tasty with generous portions.

Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area

Out for a stroll along the sea wall and dropped in for lunch, we had stopped earlier in the week for a drink and check out the menu. the bar was cosy with both like tables, the girl behind the bar charming. the food was plentiful and good, loved the potato wedges. i had a chicken burger, a butterflied breast coated in cheese on a bun mmmm.

We enjoyed a great lunch on the decking next to the beach with our two horses Bess and Puggles. This pub is ideal for horse owners as it is at the end of a fantastic gallop from Ynyslas where you park your horse box or trailer on the beach. What made it even better was my daughters boyfriend paid for it! How cool is that.

We popped in for drinks as there always seems to be a crowd here. Then stayed for a meal, food was good and reasonably priced. Staff were lovely as were owners. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back again and enjoyed local music talent as well as a meal. I would recommend the pub, food and atmosphere. Other customers also very friendly.
