the sun shone on may bank holiday monday and while the kids played on the beach we got sunburned on the deck outside.we missed the food but what we saw was large portions of good looking food.the burgers were huge.coors light at £3 a pint.we asked if the pub could be moved nearer to our park by the RNLI building so we didnt have so far to walk.taxi was £3.50 so not too bad.i gotta say though the beach was very rocky and you could have easily turned an ankle.but thats not the pubs fault!

“Delightful little pub, scrumptious food, idyllic setting.”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

We have eaten here several times over the pasts couple of weeks and since owning a caravan in Borth, my son now thinks he's a local!
The food has been delicious on every occasion, book early as the Sunday lunch gets booked up very quickly!
Beautiful homemade Sunday lunch, generous portions and the best Yorkshire puddings ever!
They have a beautiful decking area outside on the beach with a BBQ area that serves the most amazing flat breads!
And a thank you to the lovely Lisa who made us feel so welcome at the bar area.

See you all soon x

“Evening dinner”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Dined here for dinner with family on a bank holiday Monday and has a very pleasant evening. Very large portions, excellent bar service and very friendly. Slightly understaffed in terms of table service and basic condiments could do with refilling etc otherwise a very nice meal.

“Terrible service and greasy food”
Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

Upon arrival were told we'd have to wait until 40 minutes after our reservation before they could seat us as they were too busy. At no point were we offered an apology. When the food finally arrived the waitress managed to spill gravy over two of our party, again there was no apology and we had to ask them to get a cloth. One meal was inedible and had to be knocked off the bill, the others came with what was obviously frozen veg and were only marginally better. Very disappointing and we certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
