We stayed in a deluxe studio and loved it. The view from the balcony was fantastic. We ate dinner on the balcony watching the sun go down and the lights from cars driving along 90 mile beach.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Good sized shower room.
Easy walk downhill to the beach, a bit harder uphill on the way back.
Wish we'd had more time to spend here.

We had a Seaview unit, beautiful views, nice balcony area but, not private. Short walk down to the beach. Unit a little bit tired but, all we needed. Kitchen well equipped but, no oven. Plenty of parking and the ladies at reception are lovely and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Room tip: Pay a bit extra for Seaview or partial view. Rooms without a view didn't seem to be very private at all

Clean and comfortable motel room with fabulous views up and down the beach. The restaurant was very good, with a quirky collection of currency notes from all over the world. Try their stonegrill options. The manager was very down-to-earth and friendly.. We would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: Try out the stone grilled meals at the restaurant

can highly recommend at least a night in this place. we had a corner beach front room which had the most beautiful view up 90 mile beach and of shipwreck bay. it was a magic afternoon on the terrace and an even better evening after watching the sun set and then the moon rise above the water. the room was spacious and modern and the ceiling fan was most appreciated!

We didn't stay here but we did come for dinner to the restaurant. There aren't many choices in Ahipara and this was very good. You cook your own food on a hot stone at the table which was kind of fun. I had surf and turf (scallops, shrimp and beef) which were outstanding. My wife had lamb which was also good. We had the Carmel slice for dessert which was really good and was a gluten free option. The outside tables have some nice views of the water although the place is definitely in need of some sprucing up. Service was good and the staff was friendly. We had a really nice time and would return.
