“Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds with all the comforts”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A lovely well catered cottage, in a fabulous location. The owner and agent were most accommodating with some changes and had also added some nice touches including a delicious chocolate cake.
It has a lovely garden, with plenty of seating, and all the home comforts you would need.
Great Pub in the village.
Would definitely return.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 30 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The cottage was excellently equipped for a holiday cottage, down to even having sharp knives in the kitchen. Very quirky, don't go if you struggle with steep stairs or low beams but full of character , well heated, all mod cons. Good pubs in the surrounding villages.

“Lovely old Cotswold Stone House.”
Reviewed 11 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Gables Cottage is a great place to stay. The house has great character with many old beams and lovely polished floor boards in the bedrooms. The wooden spiral staircase is an interesting feature for the nimble footed and gives a feeling of living in a small castle! Very nice spacious garden and good parking spaces. Lovely quiet village position as there is very little traffic on the road outside. Nice comfy beds, good linen and towels. Very clean. The caretaker did a good job, with the aid of an electrician, to sort out a problem with the boiler but we were very chilly for the first 24 hours! The village pub is just around the corner and the service and food there is very good. We also enjoyed a cafe meal at Whispers in Chipping Norton and a visit to the Snowshill Arms. Other good pubs in the area: The Plough at Ford, Hollow Bottom at Guiting Power and the wonderful Fleece Inn.

“A cottage full of charm in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 8 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Myself and 4 girlfriends spent a lovely weekend at Gables Cottage. The cottage is full of character- wooden beams, log fire, quirky staircase. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated in a Cath kidston style- and equipped to a very high standard.

There is a lovely big garden equipped with top of the range garden furniture.

Churchill itself is a lovely little village with a great village pub. The cottage is Not far from Daylesford- which I can highly recommend and about 40 minute drive to Oxford.

There are low ceilings in the property so tall people would need to be vigilant. Also because of the age of the property, noise does travel easily between the wooden floors.

We all loved it and were very sad to leave!

“A paradise”
Reviewed 4 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We loved this cottage so much, the gardens were beautiful, the house was spotlessly clean.
The beds were so comfy with 100% cotton linen.
The towels from the white company were good quality with lots more evidence of high quality throughout this property.
The kids loved everything about it, so did my husband and I.
We will recommend this cottage highly.
Thank you so much.
