“Delightful place for lamb stew on a cold day!”
Review of Linnane's Pub

We visited Linnane's on our drive from Limerick to Doolin. It was cold, wet, Irish day and although it was 3 in the afternoon and we were the only customers, they whipped up some fabulous Lamb Stew. My wife and I enjoyed it with a pint by the fire. There's a famous trad band that plays here - can't recall the name - and we didn't see them during our visit. But look into coordinating your visit with when they are playing. Very hospitable staff - stop in sometime!

We stopped in Linnane's Pub in Kilfenora, County Clare, on our way back from our trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. We got there a little on the early side in the evening, so it was quiet and not busy. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and possessed a quick wit and good sense of humor. Behind the bar he has a sign posted that reads: "Many have eaten here. Few have died." Well, I can testify that you probably won't die there, but you certainly will enjoy the food, the drink, the hospitality, and the warm fireplace. We had the Irish stew (lamb in this case), Guinness, and trifle with cream for dessert. Superb!
