My wife and I (50+ agegroup) booked here as the first stop in a short island hopping week. It was so nice, we decided to forgo the island hopping and just explore Paros and Anti Paros more. Don't believe all you read about Paros. Piso Livadi was beautiful and quiet whilst we were there. Well located to explore the rest of the island by buses which came by every hour or so. Piso Livadi is just the right size for a quiet week stay, around a dozen tavernas and cafes on the harbour side, a small sandy beach (not as clean as some) and a pebble cove for snorkling. If you want to party, then probably Naoussa or some of the beach resorts further down the east coast would be a better choice!
The Aloni hotel is perfectly situated around 50m from the harbour side. Far enough to be away from any noise, but a really easy walk. Our room for the first nice was Ok, but the beds were very hard and not too compfy. We switched rooms for the last 3 nights, and it was perfect. Comfy bed, lots of room to spread out, and a nice large balcony area with sea views. Rather than have tables and desks, etc, most of the furniture was built in white painted masonry, which was unusual but really well done The hotel reception areas are cool and pleasant and the owners and staff really helpful. Lots of choice for breakfast!

As an experienced Greek traveller of some 47 years, this is one of the best value for money hotels that I have ever stayed in. The location is ideal to be close enough to all the facilities of Piso Livadi and at the same time very quiet for a peaceful night. The room and balcony were delightful with great views over the village and the harbour. A bottle of local wine in the room was a pleasant surprise. The room was kept spotlessly clean and all linen changed regularly. The room had air conditioning, a fridge, TV and the free wireless connection worked very well. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. The terrace for breakfast or an evening drink is an artistic delight and very well designed. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The breakfast is continental and generous, however it was never a problem to make me eggs on toast or whatever I asked for. The Greek and filter coffee were excellent. I stayed there for 3 weeks in May/June and will be back again in late August for a longer stay. I can't say enough about Lefteris, who has become a good friend, nothing was too much trouble for him and his generosity has to be seen to be believed. I don't recommend places lightly, but I do recommend this hotel. It punches above it's weight for a small hotel. Car parking in shaded garages is also a nice touch close to your room. You can be collected and delivered to the airport or port of Paroikia on request. I look forward to going back very much.

Room Tip: No tips, all are good.

I went on holiday with a friend and her family, one of whom is Gary who gave the review below. I completely echo everything he has to say about the hotel. I thought that the pool area was gorgeous and really lovely and quiet. All we did was laze about in the sun and eat good food. The beach was heavenly with clear water and lots of shady spots under trees for naps. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and our balcony was very big. The only food I can rate is breakfast as I ate out for all other meals but the breakfast was great - buffet, with lots on offer and good fresh fruit. This hotel is perfect for couples on a romantic break or families with older children (16+).

The manager is definitely the heart and soul of this quite big hotel. He was so kind to drive me all the way to Parikia to pick up my friend from the ferry. He even offered me some wine and souvlaki while waiting the ferry to arrive. We had a nice conversation about well... everything :-). He and his friend drove us to top of this big hill to see the acient monastary, then to this beautiful little beach and picked us later back to the hotel. All this without any extra cost! Amazing service!! Rooms are clean, alltough we had this weird smell of sweat in our room but you couldn't smell it after five seconds you entered to room. Terrace is big and sunny and the showers are decent size. Pool area is very nice and well maintained.

Hotel Aloni was a superb choice of place to stay as it was so close to the restaurants and shops in Pisso Livadi. We are a mature couple who travelled with another couple and found the ambience in the hotel was just blissful and homely. It is a pity that while we were there the winds were so strong we could not sit out on the balconies. But the lounges in the main building were so comfortable to stretch out on with a book.
The manager was so helpful and always so ready to help with queries and maps and whatever was needed. We could not fault the rooms which were clean and tidied everyday. The one small point that seems to be an ommission in most of the hotels in Greece is a variety of whole grain bread and cereals and perhaps stewed fruit for the diet conscious guests. This is the one thing I missed here and have some concern for people with any diabetic or cardiac condition that requires a breakfast that is on the low Glycaemic Index. However I am sure that the manager and his staff at this hotel would probably oblige readily if discussed with them or in fact arranged before the stay. I will most certainly stay at Hotel Aloni again and will discuss diet options before hand.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Aloni hotel, family with 3 young kids. Reservation and room was handled perfectly, extra bed was placed at the room so that all 5 of us could sleep in one spacious room that had a very big terrace with nice view. Room had all the necessary things inside and hotel had a buffet breakfast that offered a nice variety for all preferences. There is a small pool at the hotel also but with so many great beaches at Paros, we used it just for very short and usually at the end of the day upon our return from the beach.
Hotel location is good with easy access to the beach of Piso Livadi but also New Pounta beach that is about a 10 min walk. Naoussa is abt 15min drive and Paroikia about 30 mins. There are many nice beaches nearby and within 10 min drive from the hotel.
The couple that runs the hotel are great people and very helpful, if you visit do not miss the Naxos-Koufonisia daily cruise with the great Captain Giannis that they informed us about at the hotel, really great experience!
We would definitely visit the hotel if we go back to Paros in the future!

Great place for the whole family. Most rooms have a fantastic terrasse. Just in case, ask for it in advance. The owner are very nice and helpful. walking distance from bars and restaurant but a quiet area. A great bargain in fact.
