Stayed for 2 nights in this friendly hotel, nicely located 2 minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are large, but the beds very basic. Shower was not fixed to the wall. Noisy doors. Small but nice pool. Breakfast OK. The owner is very helpful, but the reception desk people came across tired and not very warm. Ok value for money overall. The village is very nice for a 1 or 2 night trip.

Wow! I wish I didn't have to leave. For not alot of money I got to wake up to georgeous views of the town. A block from the beach and restaurant shops. Beatuiful large balcony, kitchenette, air conditioning. Beautiful pool. I could go on and on. The family who runs the place is super helpful, very willing to provide transportation to activities and to/from the port. Loved every minute of our stay there and hope to get back some day.

Having stayed here in May 2013, I was so happy with everything accommodation, staff etc that I returned in late August for a long stay. I arrived on Aug 26th as the day before is called exodus day on the island. For some reason you would think someone had flicked a switch on the 25th.
Because on Aug 15th is the most important festival on the island which marks the Ascension of the Virgin Mary to Heaven. Pilgrims make their way to Paros from all over Greece to pray at the shrine of the Virgin in The Church of a Hundred Doors in Paroikia, (Ekatontapyliani). which only has 99 doors. I was made so welcome on my return like a long lost uncle. This is only a small (30 rooms) family run hotel which is what makes it so friendly and the people so helpful.

The rooms are all spacious and comfortable with air con, fridge, TV and the wifi worked fine in my room. They were kept spotlessly clean. A good size shower room big enough for one or two to take a shower and someone to get washed at the basin at the same time. Complimentary toiletries. The Balconies are huge, not only big enough to sit and have a relaxing drink but big enough to invite the entire family and have a party. Mine was about 25 sq/m.

When the hotel is fairly busy breakfast is served buffet style with a large selection of everything from juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, salads, many Greek cakes and breads, eggs anyway you want them and the same for coffees, I always drink Greek coffee for breakfast which they were very happy to make. When the hotel is quiet they will ask you what you want and prepare it freshly in minutes. There is no dining room, breakfast is taken on a beautiful terrace overlooking the village and fishing harbour. They don't do evening meals as such but will make many foods in the evening from Chicken nuggets etc for the Kids to toasties or even salads. The terrace is a great place for a pre or apre dinner drink, lovely atmosphere and Lefteris has a great taste in music.

There are many Tavernas, Restaurants and Ouzeries within a very short walk. The Halaris and The Soiree being my own personal favourites but all are good. The Brazil bar sells all the best quality drinks from Veuve Cliquot Champagne to the best Whiskey,Gin and Vodka's that money can buy as well as superb cocktails.

There is a regular bus service through the village. The hotel staff will be only to pleased to organise a hire car or bike for you and give you up to date advice on the buses and places to visit. Lots of leaflets and info on the island available.

Lefteris the owner will collect and deliver you to the airport or ferry by arrangement free of charge.
I don't know if this would apply to a one night stay?
I had a car there which I could park in a garage in the shade which was very useful on hot days.
There is a lovely swimming pool which is not very big but big enough to cool off in. Beware there is NO shallow end for kids and it is deep. They keep it very clean and the area is very relaxing.

I can't say enough about this small friendly hotel or it's staff, it is now home from home to me.
I have already booked to return in May and I am looking forward to it very much. The generosity of the owners (Lefteris and Lina) has to be seen to be believed. This is not your giant impersonal 4 star hotel but a very comfortable family run Greek hotel and long may it stay so.
There is also a travel agent nearby where you can book bus or ferry tickets also arrange trips.

Room Tip: My only tip is, go there and enjoy your holiday.

We stayed at the Aloni Hotel for just over a week in September 2013.
We loved the place! It is family owned by Lina and Leftheris and is run with typical Greek hospitality!
Tucked away above the little road leading down into the pretty fishing port of Piso Livadi on the Eastern side of Paros the hotel is in a great location.
From the road it is deceivingly bigger than it appears. It has a nice restaurant balcony area where their super breakfasts can be enjoyed looking down over the bay and harbour. A nice way to start the day!
It has a small, but nice and clean, swimming pool and sun bathing area in a very sheltered position.
We used the hotel bar a couple of times in the evening with another couple of friends and enjoyed the atmosphere, the lovely sympathetic music, great drinks and very reasonable prices.
From the moment we arrived we found Leftheris, and the whole team to be very friendly and they couldn't do enough to make our stay with them as enjoyable as possible. They even showed me how they make such yummy scrambled eggs in the morning :-)
Our room had a superb view out across the harbour and bay - we had a large corner balcony/patio area and we thought it was just lovely.
The room itself was simply furnished but contained all that we needed to enjoy our stay. It was kept beautifully cleaned throughout our stay and there was always fresh linen and plenty of hot water.
Piso Livadi is a lovely fishing port backed by a nice little town beach. It has a selection of very good places to eat and drink all within a couple of minutes stroll from the hotel. There are a couple of travel offices and even an ATM cash machine. A bus stop about 100 yards away can be used to get into Paroikia town via Lefkes or the coastal town of Naoussa, the other direction the bus goes down the coast to Drios passing some more nice beaches.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return next year :-)

Room Tip: I think most rooms will have great views because of the location, but just ask as they really try to...

Nothing is too much trouble for staff here. If you ask them something looking all flustered they soon make you feel nothing is a problem. And all with the biggest friendliest smiles. This is a place to relax. The balcony area with cushions is the most comfortable place to spend some time. The pool is small but fine to cool down. There is no shallow end though. The rooms are fine..Beds are comfy and the shower brilliant.Breakfast was a huge choice and a great start to the day. What makes this place is the staff. All of them , the staff who do the room, full of beans and always laughing and smiling. Lefteris who is so kind and helpful and puts the guests first all the time. Its in a great location very handy for the beach and village life.

This was our first hotel on our two-week trip to Greece and we had a fantastic week at Piso Livadi. We (2 adults+2 children) stayed in a family room with sea view which had a very large terrace and the room was very clean. The pool may not be the largest but still really nice and we used it quite a lot even though we spent our days mainly at the beach. Hotel is located very close to the port of Piso Livadi with access to several restaurants & cafés, mini markets, travel agents and a bus stop (even though buses are supposedly stoppable anywhere on their route).

On top of everything, the hotel is run by the very friendly Lina & Lefteris who helped us with everything we asked for like guiding, transports etc. All service was fantastic and helped making this week-long stay a complete joy for the whole family.

If you stay there you must visit the small beach behind the church. It's amazing.

My wife and I (50+ agegroup) booked here as the first stop in a short island hopping week. It was so nice, we decided to forgo the island hopping and just explore Paros and Anti Paros more. Don't believe all you read about Paros. Piso Livadi was beautiful and quiet whilst we were there. Well located to explore the rest of the island by buses which came by every hour or so. Piso Livadi is just the right size for a quiet week stay, around a dozen tavernas and cafes on the harbour side, a small sandy beach (not as clean as some) and a pebble cove for snorkling. If you want to party, then probably Naoussa or some of the beach resorts further down the east coast would be a better choice!
The Aloni hotel is perfectly situated around 50m from the harbour side. Far enough to be away from any noise, but a really easy walk. Our room for the first nice was Ok, but the beds were very hard and not too compfy. We switched rooms for the last 3 nights, and it was perfect. Comfy bed, lots of room to spread out, and a nice large balcony area with sea views. Rather than have tables and desks, etc, most of the furniture was built in white painted masonry, which was unusual but really well done The hotel reception areas are cool and pleasant and the owners and staff really helpful. Lots of choice for breakfast!
