We stayed for 10 nights on half board from Oct 18th and were very pleased with the hotel. Our apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable, so it did not matter if it was a little dated in appearance.
Previous comments about the variety of the food were unjustified. During our stay there was a very wide choice including a lot of delicious Spanish specialities. The show cooking included omelettes, fried and scrambled eggs, and pancakes at breakfast, and meat and fish at dinner. This was in addition to all the other prepared dishes. The desserts were good and there was always plenty of fresh fruit and salads.
The walk to town along the main road could easily be avoided by taking a pretty back lane. Similarly there were pleasanter routes to the beach. We have stayed in Puerto Pollensa previously, in three different hotels, all more central, but would go back to the Duva. Bicycle hire would cut some of the walking time.
Some of the sunbeds had broken headrests but perhaps will be replaced next season. The outdoor pool was cool, but the indoor one was quite warm. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the gym, spinning, or tennis.
All the staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient. We liked the position of the hotel, especially the open views to the rear and behind the tennis courts.More
