After reading some reviews of this hotel I was a little apprehensive about going but why did I worry?
We stayed on an AI option for 11 nights. First of all our check in was very quick and Bamba and the team helped us. Even though we did request rooms together as we travelled as a party of eight we ended up one on 7th floor, one on 6th floor and two on 4th floor, so emailing them or requesting rooms together doesn't work. However rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean.
The food was breakfast from 7.30am to 10.00am.This consisted of full english breakfast cereals, continental end even porridge. Then at 12.00ish it was snacks from the pool bar which consisted of crisps, nuts and ritz biscuits. The lunch was served from 1.00pm until 3.00pm which was full servery of freshly cooked food as well as soups, salads, children's food bar and ample of bread. Then there is another snack between 4.30 and 6.00 which was again crisps, nuts, ritz biscuits but also sandwiches, sweet biscuits and cake. The evening meal was in two sittings - 6.30pm and then 8.30pm.There was fish and meat (sometimes steak) every night, pasta, salads, paella, chips and even curry It didn't matter what time you was eating there was always plenty of food. Now the food was good upto the first week after that it repeated itself and the desserts tended to dwindle off with fresh fruit and cheese and biscuits most evenings. The restaurant staff were always polite, helpful and efficient.
The drinks were on tap, that is estrella beer, white, red and rose wine and soft drinks, You did have to queue for other drinks that were on the AI option. Make sure you ask for the house cocktail as this was free to AI guest but other cocktails and imported beers and spirits were payable even by AI guests, Water was free to all AI guests only.
The entertainment was OK and the animation team did a great job entertaining the kids and those who wanted to join in. The activities were darts, archery, rifle shooting, football, basketball, boules, water polo, water aerobics and zumba. All winners received a certificate at night during the evening entertainment.
The swimming pool is very nice and clean and the sun beds were new. However if you wanted a sunbed by the pool you had to be up a the crack of dawn to get one as most were reserved by 6.30am. There are old sun beds in the gardens(which is lovely and quiet until other nationalities join and seem to shout to one another!!) which are back breakers but if you wanted to relax in the lovely sunshine then this was the only option left. But again these were reserved early, and we were one of those, as there seemed to not be enough sunbeds for every guest which was a little disappointing as the hotel had everything to offer and it was a shame to leave the premises.
The hotel and surrounding areas are spotless and always being cleaned.
The hotel spa is worth a visit. It costs roughly 15 euro which comprises of 3 for the hat (which you must wear) 2 euro for a towel and a 10 euro deposit which you get back after your holiday, so well worth it.
The hotel is in a relatively quiet area with a couple of bars close by. Palms Bar offers great tribute acts, Whitney Houston, Abba Girls, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, Robbie Williams and Elvis. We only went to see the Elvis show which was a good night. Most of the bars and the hotel entertainment closes at 11.30pm.
The beach is a two minute walk away and is beautiful but the cost of the sun beds are so expensive. 12 euros for two sun beds and an umbrella. Most people were buying lilos and using them instead of the beds. Too expensive!!
Overall I would recommend the Pollensa Park and Spa hotel. It is graded a 3* but I would definitely give it a 4*. Thank you Pollensa Park for a great holiday, with great people and an excellent hotel. We hope to see you next year!

Room Tip: Request a sea view but not guaranteed. Pool side very sunny and noisy.

Just returned from a 7nts B and B. Overall not bad, so many lovely restaurants to try! Breakfast was fine plenty of choice not sure about the curried sausages though! Didn't even try to join the battle of the sunbeds and actually only used the pool once, deciding like many others to use the beach opposite - even worth paying the 12 euros to hire the sun-beds and parasol. It would be good if the Hotel could negotiate a deal for hotel guests with the Beach sunbeds. This would make up for the lack of control at the poolside. The lady on reception was brilliant always helpful and happy to book our restaurants for us. Minor grumble was that we Had an issue with housekeeping not leaving any towels and after asking 3 times and waiting an hour they appeared! The room though was clean and comfortable with a very large balcony.

I have just returned from my third stay at Pollensa Park hotel (18th- 23rd August).
Every year the hotel gets better. I stayed on an all inclusive basis, in between breakfast, lunch and dinner the pool bar offers crisps and nuts before lunch followed by sandwiches and cakes before dinner. Drinks you help yourself too which is very useful. I love the cocktail of the day that you can get at 7pm, you can pay €2 to have cocktails before this time but I quite enjoyed the evening treat.
The staff are always very helpful, friendly and polite.
The pool and sea view rooms are beautiful, the rooms are a decent size and lovely and clean. The tv channel selection had a broad range of channels including the Disney channel which was very handy for my niece.
As we were with our family the staff always made room in the dinning hall for us to have a big table together without any hassle.
The food selection is good, lunch and dinner were always very good, breakfast is good but misses a little something i feel although i feel the food defiantly gets better every year. it has a wide selection and they also cater for guests with food tolerances.
The pool is a good size and the baby pool is really convenient, there's always a really good atmosphere around the pool and everyone seems to enjoy themselves.
The spa is a must visit, it's so relaxing with a Wide range of facilities and treatments available.
The hotel also caters for disabled guests and the hotel did a fantastic job with catering for there needs.
Overall another great stay and I couldn't say anything bad about the hotel, I would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Choose the pool and sea view room, if you select a sea view you may not get to overlook the pool you...

This was our 3rd stay here,2nd year as all inclusive and we really enjoyed our stay again :-)
As always the hotel was very clean, staff friendly, bar staff seemed happier this year!It is a shame they have stopped doing lunchtime burgers, toasties, etc by the pool on all inclusive as they did last year although I can see it would be too much for the chef cooking everything to order.Maybe a good idea would be to have a hot plate with burgers and hot dogs so people could serve themselves if they want to stay poolside. Also some cold meats and cheeses would be great in the restaurant at lunchtime to make sandwiches as not everyone wants a hot meal in the day, although there was a good choice.
Entertainment was pretty good with a variety of shows.
Not sure about the sunbed situation,we love the gorgeous beach but i think you would have to reserve one early.
Absolutely loved Puerto Pollensa once again and I am sure we will return to this hotel again.

We arrived at the hotel at 1.30 in the morning and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us a ham and cheese salad and a soft drink which we thought was a great touch. We also received a breakfast on our last day which was very early - 6am. Another nice touch.

The bedroom was very clean with lovely sea and pool views and much needed air con. The cleaners were there to tidy up every day. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. We stayed all inclusive and the food was excellent with a good variety each day.

The children's entertainer and daytime activities entertainer Sonna was lovely and very friendly.

Unless you fancy a sunbed at 7am you don't have much chance of one by the pool although the hotels' policy is that if a sunbed isn't unoccupied for 30 minutes or more they will remove the beach towel, which we didn't see happen - shame!

We tended to prefer to go to the lovely beach and then go back to the hotel's pool bar to relax with a drink. The bar did seem to play the same CDs each day which was a bit disappointing.

We would definitely go back again though and would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Some rooms don't have balconies so when you book just make sure you click on one that has a balc...

Just back from 2 weeks here all inclusive. The hotel is in a perfect location for a nice walk along the promenade or to the beach which is just as well as there is never any sunbeds free as most were taken by 7.30am. The beach is spotless and the sea was lovely and clean. We never hired sunbeds here so not sure how much they were.
The bedroom was fine apart from the mattresses, they were awful and i am still suffering from back ache a week later! We had a 6th floor sea view room, definitely worth paying for this as the views were lovely to wake up to. The only downside is when you are trying to get a child to sleep and you can hear the entertainment still going on. Housekeepers did a great job. The restaurant was always busy for all 3 sittings (b'fast, lunch and dinner) but not once did i see any food run out, very efficient staff in there, the man that greeted us was always so friendly, the whole team are a credit to the hotel. The variety of food was good and the mousse was to die for!! The only downfall i felt was the set times for dinner as there was days that i did not want to leave the beach at 6pm to be ready for dinner at 7pm. Reception were ok, bit moody/unfriendly at times but did always do what was asked of them. The pool bar staff were also a little moody/unfriendly. The pool was lovely and never got too busy.
The all inclusive was good, my daughter especially liked the ice-cream!
The childrens playground could do with some investment as certain floor tiles broken and stretched and also part of the climbing frame was broken.
The children's disco really needs looking at. 2 weeks of the same songs in the same order every night is awful! Needless to say we did not go every night as could not bear it. The entertainment was ok, some acts were a bit strange.
My husband hired a bike while there and he had a great time out exploring, the hotel also offered a bike clothes wash for 2 euros which was a great idea.
I would definitely return to this hotel and the resort.

Room Tip: High floors over looking the sea

We arrived early morning to start our Honeymoon and was greeted at reception by a very friendly chap who was quick and helpful to sort out our room etc. The room on the 6th floor was clean and tidy with pool and sea view and air con.
Good points, good location with great views of the sea and surrounding mountains. The hotel was lovely with a super spa facility. The common rooms did not seem to have air con, at least not noticeable but were comfortable with plenty of seating and a good bar.
Most staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Points to consider: We took Bed & breakfast and glad we did since the buffet breakfast was luke warm only, even at 7.30am the food was only cool, maybe with exception to the cooked tomatoes. Clearly this was not acceptable. The staff were quick to clear the tables and had little or no time to chat. With regard to the hotel itself on our floor the skirting board was hanging off the wall with nails just about holding it in the wall, some areas looked a bit tired.
Room service was not great, we ran out of toilet roll, the sheets were not changed during the week and the towels although left on the floor a couple of times were only changed once. The room other than that was kept well.
Although the hotel management have a TV add running and a notice on the reception desk clearly stating that if towels were left unattended for more than 30 mins in the morning they would be removed, the holiday makers put their towels on the sun loungers every morning first thing and then went off to have breakfast or whatever. To our knowledge not one was ever removed. We had been out for the day and arrived back at the Hotel late afternoon and were told by a lady that the beds next to hers had been saved all day and not used until 4pm. I noted one chap early morning save 10 sunbeds in a row with towels, kids inflatables and other stuff and then went off. They were still there after we had breakfast some 1 hr later, why did the management not do something?. At peak times only the odd bed available so may be they need a few more?
The entertainment went on until after 11pm by the pool, under our room, not a problem for us but if you need an early night forget it, it is very loud.
Overall, a good hotel spoilt by the cool food and lack of housekeeping.
If we were going back to Majorca we may consider this Hotel but probably take room only, a hammer and some inflatables to secure our sunbeds!

Room Tip: Ask for pool and sea view but remember it will be noisy until after 11pm ish.
