P nice and spacious along with the balcony. But all in all very clean and didn't bother us as our intentions wasn't to stay in the room all day! The breakfast was nice and fresh with plenty of variety to cater For All, but to find a table was getting difficult towards the end of our stay as it was getting busier. The pool was a good size for the hotel aswell as the kids pool. The hotel state that no sunbeds can be reserved and those with towels on with no occupancy after half an hour will be removed, but this was not the case so if you can't beat them, join them!!! The animation team did work hard with special mentions to Benjamin and Mario who were fantastic. The staff we're amazing at remembering everyone's names and getting people involved. The activity programme during the day was a bit repetitive but you got to give it a go to break the day up and it's quite fun! The evening entertainment was ok, the mini disco starting at 8.30 and the adult at 9.30. We tend to miss majority of it as we was eating out. The only gripe with the hotel in all is the loud bass from the evening entertainment lasts up to 11.30pm which can be heard from the poolside view rooms (with a 6 year old light sleeper we just gave up after the first night and all went to bed after 11.30!) also didn't cater for those not staying AI as no fridge or kettles in the room. But all in all a fantastic holiday had by all!

Stayed 2 weeks half board with drinks but this only includes drinks with dinner I.e beer, local wine and soft drinks.
The hotel is clean and friendly, most staff are friendly and efficient , some of the bar staff are as miserable as sin and like to tell you what you can and can't do like, take tea and coffee in cups round the pool, but this is on if your face fits basis. You are also not allowed in the pool bar if you have just been in the pool,as you make the floor wet they should put down rubber matting or something to stop this problem rather than escorting from the bar.
Food
Breakfast was adequate and varied from full English to continental although ingredients were the cheapest, dinner was ok as long as your not fussy, but there was some unidentified meats, although the food is often labelled one night we had soup labeled soup and pudding labeled pudding.
Rooms
These are clean and adequate, beds are bit uncomfortable and creak a lot when you move. Cleaners are excellent and come every day.
Pool
The pool was nice, salt water rather than chlorine although salt not too strong, the area around the pool is slippery when wet care needed.
Entertainment/daily activities
These we're run by Mauro, Benji and Victoria and we're great fun. Mauro and Benji really made the holiday enjoyable and worked extremely hard every day and they were very sociable, loud funny and entertaining, the evening entertainment was not as good although they did the best they could with what appeared to be very limited resources.
One very big down for us was my brother and his family live in Majorca so we use our holiday to meet up, they came to the hotel for few days to sit round the pool with us and on our last full day Cati who I thought was in charge of the animation team told us that weren't allowed in the hotel, this was the only time in our 2week stay she spoke to us.

Overall we had a great time, not sure we would go back, we hear it's being upgraded to a 4 star next season so would imagine the cost will increase.

Room Tip: 5th floor upwards are better, lateral sea view is on the outside bars side so a bit noisy but it did...

Dear Iankerly

We thank you for your time taken on making these valuable comments which are the best way to help us in our daily improvement to get the highest standards in all the hotel areas.
During your stay you reported that slippery pool at Reception. Sun cream is the worst enemy for that inconvenience, we are working on that to give it a fast solution, as we do care a lot about your safety, we do clean the pool area. Thank you for that comment.
We apologize if the rules of the Bar where not suitable for you, but please think that there is electricity, and other dangers and our staff is fully aware of that, that´s why they called your attention.
The entertainment staff as you say work hard and happily to make your stay an unforgettable memory, we are proud to know you´ve enjoyed, we will informe the about your satisfaction.
Next time if you have visitors at the Hotel, just informing us it’s enough, as you can understand we have to supervise that external people are not entering our establishment.
All in all we are glad you´ve enjoyed your stay and we really hope to welcome you in the future.

Stayed in June for 13 nights. Room on the 6th floor had great views of the mountains, town and bay. Rooms x1-10 face this direction. Lower floors have less of a view.
We stayed 1/2 board. Breakfast was a bit disorganised with queues for the toaster and some unable to operate the drinks machine. All meals were buffet style with plenty of choice. Evening meals had 4 hot dishes to choose from plus veg & salads. Good selection of desserts & fresh fruit. Limited to 1 hour serving felt a bit rushed to eat up and leave. If the hotel spent more than 2 euros per litre on the wine included with the meal I'd be surprised. It was rough.
Hotel reception staff very helpful. The free evening entertainment was terrible, we retreated to our balcony. A 100m from the beach with small supermarkets and bars nearby to get a snack or drink. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views.

Spent 9 nights here on HB basis, but wish we had just paid for b and b. The food lets the hotel down.
Breakfast is ok if you stick to the fruit, porridge with honey (avoid the maple syrup). We only had two evening meals as the food was awful. Turkey twizzlers, chicken nuggets, chips and a fish dish that was swimming in water/oil the first time we went. The second time we were more hopeful when we saw paella on offer. This had no taste, lacked seafood/meat and the peas appeared to be processed. The salads were ok but could not face just salad for another 7 nights so we ate out.
The local restaurants are very good with every type of budget catered for.

Hotel is a great base near to the beautiful beach with fantastic mountain views. Buy a parasol from the local shops to avoid the sunbed hire costs. Wonderful relaxing beach with plenty of room and not too crowded at the end of June.

Buses run on the beach road close to the hotel to Alcudia, Pollensa, Formentor, Palma etc

If you need entertaining lots of the bars and restaurants have entertainment on offer

Our room was clean and we had lovely pool, sea views. The staff we dealt with were very friendly and hard working.

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for pool, sea view. We had room 631 and loved the views

comfy accomodation very friendly hotel and annimation team. rooms were clean and had all you need for a couple of weeks holiday. very close to the beach and local gift shops ect about a ten minuit stroll along the beach to the port. hotel offers lots of things to do from relaxing spa to water polo!! food and drink was as you would expect from an all inclusive but to a high standard and lots of choise. we were three couples ranging from sixty to late twenties...and we all enjoyed it!! very nice market near the port on wednesdays.boat trips availiable also from the port at a reasonable price.
would advise all in as the food prices outside the hotel are on the expensive side and if you are a beach lover the sun beds are half price after 3pm ...but it is still very warm right up untill late so can still have plenty of time on the beach!!
we had read some very poor reveiws before we went so was unsure but bear in mind that the furgus group only took over this hotel 4 months ago and have very big ideas to improve it still so it is much better than the reivews we read earlier in the year!! would defo go back as we didnt want to come home. also note the way the hotel is possitioned there are no real sea views.

Room Tip: higher floors are best ...so we were told. we stayed on the 2nd floor and was fine

We have just got back from a week at the Pollensa Park, and after reading the reviews here I was a bit apprehensive. But I have to say in all fairness I was plesantly suprised! I arrived after a long trip at 13.15 and was directed to our room..... a twin facing the pool with an amazing sea view. The bed was two singles knocked together and the mattress was firm (first time ive not suffered with back ache on holiday!,,). The room was spotless with a nice balcony area, and the bathroom was also nice and clean with fresh towels. We had to pay 17 euros for the safe for the week and the wifi was free (but coverage and speed could be improved). We ate at the hotel most days for breakfast dinner and tea, and there was plenty of choice, loads if salad, capers, pickles, with fish freshly cooked on the grill, chicken, pasta, fresh bread, icecream, sorbet, cream cakes, panacotta, fresh fruit and even fresh cherries one day! Whilst yes the food is repetitive, but for the amount we paid we could afford to go out a couple of evenings at some of the restaurants nearby......its great if your on a budget and not particularly fussy about food as long as its edible..... I have been to other hotels all inclusive and they were terrible. There are activities during the day like water polo and rifle shooting and archery.....I also inspected the tennis courts and they were not overgrown and in good condition. We had alot of fun trying archery, but have to say we gave the entertainment at night as as it was a bit......sad. It was very noisy till about 11pm earplugs may help, but the location was so fantastic we found we stayed out late most nights. Gnts are good and the beer was pretty good too, wine was an aquired taste but drinkable with dinner. We found the staff very helpful and happy, not once did we feel hurried when eating, and I wasnt aware of any sittings as such and we never had to queue outside the restaurant.

Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful place, and we hired a car for 3 days (34€ a day) ok it was only a fiat 500 with a drop down roof, it was fun to drive. The drive along the nortwest coast to La Granja was amazing and we wished we had stopped to eat on the way there. Majorca is stunning and we cant wait to go back. The beach was literally 5 mins away, clean with beds and umberellas for about 12€ for the day, the sea is crystal clear with an abundance of fish which you can feed bread.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and I would go back again next year for two weeks this time.

For the second year running we return from a lovely holiday in a hotel which had been slated by some reviewers, which meant we arrived in some trepidation but departed very happy. I can only imagine that the hotel has taken on board some of the comments or some reviews were unnecessarily harsh- most likely a combination of both.

The hotel is large, very clean and ideally located just 5 minutes walk from the beach and a 20 minute stroll into the centre of Puerto de Pollensa. If you hire a car there is a spacious car park in front of the hotel and there is easy access onto the new bypass to Alcudia / Pollensa and beyond.

The pool area is one of the best we have enjoyed. Large pool with separate pool for toddlers and so many sunbeds that we never had to rush down at the crack of dawn to reserve one. There are also large garden areas with additional sunbeds for those who don't want to be next to the pool. There is a large poolside bar with plenty of covered seating if you want a bit of shade.

We had booked a sea and pool view twin room which for the views alone are worth the modest extra cost. We were upgraded to room 833 which is on the top floor adjacent to the stairs but with the added benefit of a very large balcony and plenty of room to spread out. The room had a fridge ( free) and a safe ( 3 euro deposit and 2 euros per night ). The bathroom was very large and modern with a bath and shower.

The maids cleaned every day but in a very basic way. We were on the balcony a couple of mornings when they came into clean and they were rarely there more than 5 minutes and essentially made the beds; emptied the bins; and re-arranged the towels.

That said the maids and all the staff were very friendly and courteous.

Many reviews criticised the restaurant but it was certainly no worse and in generally as good as most we have stayed at on an All Inclusive basis. The two tiered sittings have been dispensed with and you can go in any time between 18.30 and 21.00 pm. Breakfasts were a good choice of cooked or fruit ( avoid the porridge ) albeit the only variation on the cooked breakfasts was either fried eggs or scrambled. Lunch was excellent with plenty of salad and a variety of cooked options. The evening meal was much of the same. Only real disappointment was a lack of variety in the desserts albeit there was always plentiful fruit. One suggestion to the hotel would be perhaps a theme / gala night once a week as we have enjoyed at other hotels on A. In short the fare on offer was as you would expect from a 3 star all inclusive buffet style offering and anyone who wants grander things needs to pay the extra to stay at a hotel that meets their unrealistic expectations of a good 3 star.

The only real downside was the evening entertainment. During the day the Animation Team were excellent - very enthusiastic and inclusive but never pushy and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a good time. At night they were let down by a lack of investment by the hotel management. Standard fare was a min disco followed by them doing a quiz or bingo or a show of their own. If you see variety show advertised, don't get too excited- it is just the animation team miming badly to songs! We stayed 11 nights and there were only 3 professional acts and in short they were all very poor standard.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday far more than we expected given the poor reviews and if you go with appropriate expectations, you will have a good time.

Room Tip: On a Sunday morning get reception to book you a taxi to Pollensa Town ( 10m euros each way) and enjo...
