This was our first holiday abroad with children so we went along with another couple and their daughter. We had looked for somewhere within walking distance of the town and this property fitted the bill.
I will be frank - the property is wonderful, the owners live next door and were on hand if there were any issues but never intruded. Dickinson villas were excellent during arranging the stay and also while we were there. The children ages ranged from 4 to 8 and there are plenty of places to escape the sun - they would go inside and watch a DVD for a while before getting back in the pool. Fresh grapes and limes ripe for the picking and a wonderful outdoor BBQ that we used several times.
The mountain backdrop is dramatic and there are no high rise properties anywhere near the villa. A very well stocked supermarket is a five minute walk and the town square is around ten to fifteen minutes walk with kids. The TV was a bit old and battered but we weren't there to watch television so didn't let that spoil things.
It spoiled us all! No package holidays for us. Already considering a return visit.
