We come back as it has an extensive menu for these days you don't know what you want so have had many different things here including pasta, pizza, rabbit, suckling pig, etc. Have never had a bad meal here, always very nice and great location in the square for people watching.

If we'd read previous reviews we'd have avoided this place, which would have been a shame as it was by far the best meal of the holiday so far (or possibly of the year). We went for the 3 course for 17 euros option and it was absolutely superb. The mussels for starter were fresh and tasty, in a delicious tomato sauce, the lamb was cooked to perfection, falling off the bone at the merest touch of my fork and the cheesecake was lovely too.
In addition to this, the house wine was both cheap and delicious and the service was friendly and prompt.
I would highly recommend a visit!

Worst experience in a Majorcan restaurant in 5 visits to the island. My wife and I both ordered the set menu, mussels starter followed by the steak. The starters were not too bad although as advertised as mussels marinier I was looking forward to a nice garlic creamy white wine sauce only to be handed a bowl of mussels in what was like a watery tomato sauce, horrible. Went from bad to worse. My wife ordered her steak medium rare, it arrived on the table looking practically burnt, when we complained we were looked at as if we were crazy. Second attempt at medium rare came out blue! The cut if meat was the worst we have ever experienced in our lives, rubbery and chewy, felt sickly eating it. Then the waiter tried to serve us someone else's desert in the middle of our main course, the waiters were running around like headless chickens getting orders wrong and delivering to wrong tables all night, it was like something out of faulty towers, absolute joke if a restaurant, avoid at all costs

We had several good meals in and around the square but this was without a doubt the poorest, whilst the staff were fairly attentive the steak was probably road kill that the chef flopped into a pan (barbeque HA) I don't think the chefs ever heard of a griddle & the mussels where probably left from earlier and cooked again. Please if you value your taste buds STAY AWAY. To coin a common cickney vernacular "Pony"

This was by far the worst restaurant experience of our holiday. We decided to share Chateaubriand between the two of us as a treat. Big mistake and an even bigger rip off price wise, the service was also abysmal. We waited for over 45 minutes and eventually the waiter arrived with food intended for another table. Then when our order did finally appear through the restaurant door, he tried to deliver it to another incorrect table. It then quickly became apparent that May on Mallorca is the month of the potato famine (or at least it is at this establishment). My wife who only eats small portions of food laughed when she saw the amount of food on the plate. The vegetables consisted of half a small potato cut into wedges and a few slivers of grilled pepper, when I asked the waiter if our fifty euros worth of meat came with a sauce of any kind, he looked baffled but eventually returned with a dish of indeterminate sauce for which they had the cheek to charge an additional 2.50 euros. What should have been a pleasant experience, left us instead feeling incredibly ripped off. As typically polite Brits, we very very seldom complain, but this place is a complete joke. The bill for one course and a drink was over 70 euros, I half expected the waiter to don a mask and show us his Dick Turpin impression. Avoid like the plague unless you have time and money to waste, there are many many superb alternative restaurants in both the Port and the old town.
