First visit to Pollensa and really landed lucky with this hotel, it is traditional elegance in a fabulous location with charming staff. The views are amazing and the hotel very well maintained and spotless. We didnt eat in the hotel other than room service breakfast which was fine, but to sit outside with a nightcap late at night is very very pleasant indeed!

Room Tip: Choose your floor, 1st bigger balconies, 4th view only of sea not road in front which is very pretty...

We travel 2 or 3 times each year on holiday and are quite fussy - BUT - we bought this holiday from Thomson's Small and Friendly and found the hotel to be exactly that - Small and Friendly but also very clean and well maintained thus making our stay very relaxing.

Recommend rooms 117 - 121 inclusive if you like the sun? The sun shines on these larger balconies from just after lunch to about 1900hrs (28 April) so you can sit and enjoy the rays with a glass of wine.

It's not a "pool" hotel - it's across the road. It has a lido out the front which is nice.

It's centrally located and good for all local restaurants. We went to:
Los Faroles on the sea front - nice quality food, Coral Bar which was close to the hotel and Tribeca - all very nice.

Other guests were recommending Little Italy along the Pine Walk.

Overall a nice holiday.

Just returned from a week at The Miramar. This is a wonderful small family run hotel where the staff will do everything in their power to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It now has its own Spa across the road at the rear of the hotel for its hotel guests. It's about a 2 min walk to the local taxi rank and bus station. If you are going try to visit Alcudia old town and Pollensa town - both offer lovely old windy streets and squares where you can sit out and enjoy a beer. The monastery at Lluc is about 35 mins away on the bus and costs about 3.5E pp one way. We walked back as there are loads of walks around the monastery. Try and walk over to Cala san Vincenc (next bay along) - it's a walk of about 1.5 hours and the hotel will probably have the details. The water is very clear here and it's great for snorkelling. The Bar Mallorca offers excellent sardines and the beachside bar has a lovely terrace overlooking the bay with tables in the shade (if you want shade!). We found Tolo's bar served very good value food - particularly their fish of the day at 18E pp. Overall a lovely place to go and chill/walk and play.

Room Tip: Try and get a quiet room as there are a few at the back which may suffer with road noise..

Chose this hotel on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews and the huge on-line discount offered by Thomson Holidays.
On arrival given room 110, adjacent to the road but seemed fine. A good size with compact bathroom, all very clean. At 6.30 awakened by crashing of refuse bins being collected. After breakfast, which is very good, asked at Reception if the refuse was collected every day. They honestly said yes it was. So we asked to be moved and were immediately offered two rooms to view. We chose 463 which had a larger bathroom and large balcony with views over the rooftops to the mountains behind Pollensa.By the time we had packed up and begun our move the room had been fully prepared for our occupation. Great service, just a pity we hadn't been put there first!
The rooms would seem to have been refurbished quite recently with the bathrooms being spotless. The beds are firm but comfortable.
From then on everything was great. We took advantage of the 10% discount on the 7day Set Menu Dinner which gave us a 3 course meal with 5 choices per course (changing daily) with a glass of wine and water. This worked out at 18 Euros each for very good meals with excellent service in nice surroundings. More variety of cuisines could no doubt be obtained in the local restaurants, but at a price.
The hotel is close to the bus stop from where most places of interest could be reached in comfortable vehicles at a very reasonable price.
The weather? English seaside weather, sunshine and blustery showers most of the time, but warmer than the UK.

Room Tip: So, a tip. Avoid rooms 110, 111, 112 & 121, 122, 123. All on the first floor close to the road.

Great location on the sea front stands out as the best quality place along here , inside it is not your usual Spanish chain hotel . Rooms are very clean and would recomend a balcony for the great views .Staff were mainly very pleasent , did not find the pool although it was too cold at this time .Breafest was average could have been better . I would recomend this hotel to the older generation who like the quality surroundings and opulent feel .

Room Tip: pay for the sea-view

Really I have no idea why this super hotel has, officially, only three stars. It is infinitely better in almost every respect than the five-star Illa D'Or, where I spent a very disappointing few nights recently. From the moment we arrived we were treated as wanted guests - a very friendly welcome and much needed help to our room with suitcases (both lacking at the Illa D'Or). Our room, in the newer extension to the hotel, was clean, light and spacious; the bathroom was very well stocked with towels in three sizes, plus a large basket of toiletries. The terrace bar is stylish and the bar staff are ever-present (and they mix a great gin and tonic!) Drinks are very well priced too. The breakfast buffet offered everything we needed. It wasn't quite warm enough to spend much time on the beachfront sunbed terrace - which was a pity, as its location is amazing and it looks most inviting. Most impressive of all: we had to leave before 7AM on our day of departure and, given that breakfast is not served until 8AM, we had not expected any. But nothing was too much trouble for the Miramar; they laid on a lovely buffet just for us, with fresh croissants, pain au chocolats and ensaimadas, and fresh coffee. This is simply a lovely place to stay, in a beautiful resort, and we will return as soon as we can! Just two small criticisms: I didn't feel that it was necessary to charge guests 3 euros per day for a safe, and body lotion would have been a useful addition to the toiletries basket.

Room Tip: A room with a sea-facing balcony is a must!

We stayed in a Miramar 1 apartment that belongs to this hotel, which is a penthouse apartment and was exceptionally spacious. It was beautifully done and very well looked after as is the Hotel.
The only negative was having to walk out onto the main street to go to the pool. The apartments are in a different building to the Hotel, in the side streets behind and there are many stairs up to this particular apartment.
The Hotel is very central and Puerto Pollenca is really lovely.
The staff were incredibly helpful, highly recommended.
