We have been here several times and the location is hard to beat. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is kept very clean. It is a little old fashioned as regards furnishing, etc but that is part of the charm. Go there once and you will likely return as so many do. Eating breakfast on the terrace looking out over the bay is not to be missed. They no longer own the bar/restaurant attached but there is no shortage of places to go as the location is excellent.

We only stayed at the hotel for one day whilst waiting for a late flight home. The staff were delightful both on booking which we did directly and on arrival. The rooms were basic but pleasant and the hotel had a nice feel to it. It has a great location on the sea front and the sea view rooms look out onto the promenade and marina, lovely both during the day and at night. If you wanted to go for a wander you just step outside the hotel and you are right next to all the restaurants. After years of staying at villas I think this would be a good alternative for my husband and I for a relaxing short stay.

Room Tip: Seaview for people watching and lovely night time views

Stayed here at the beginning of July. Good hotel- excellent location. Breakfast outside over looking the bay is particularly nice. Rooms are basic, although they have a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Sis Pins is a lovely friendly quaint hotel. It has the best location on the beautiful pine walk,a very chilled out spot. The beach is on your doorstep. The views from the rooms at the front of the hotel are outstanding. We stayed in Aug for 4 nights,we would of loved to have stayed for a week but it was booked up.The staff are very friendly & helpful, especially the lovely Christina.Breakfast is really lovely & it is served on the terrace.I thought the new cafe/bar was really lovely & relaxing. It is a very stylish place indeed but we only went once as it was a bit pricey. We stayed in 2 beautiful stylish boutique hotels in Pollenca & Alcudia old town after we left Sis Pins & our 3 year old daughter Isabella said Sis Pins was her favourite.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a room with a sea view.

Have been to Puerto Pollensa 5 years ago and loved it. Wasn't disappointed this time round. Resort is lovely, just right balance for plenty places to eat etc without being overly crowded.
This was our first time at Sis Pins and found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, staff very friendly and sunbathing area right outside hotel on the beach ideal. We did experience some noise (our room was at the back) and the binmen emptied bottle banks very early but otherwise room was lovely. As temperatures reached 44 degrees one day, the air con was a godsend. Breakfast was adequate but bit more choice on the cooked menu would have been better. All in all, great holiday and we hope to go back soon

We have been trying to book this hotel for many years but during the Globespan ownership one had to fly from Glasgow.

We are delighted that new owners have taken it over. We were able to obtain a cancellation at short notice and found everything excellent. The booking was efficient, accomodation and breakfast good. All the staff were very friendly and always helpful.
Whilst the adjoining "Cappaccino" is a very up market concern we did not use the facility because they were far too expensive. It is a pity because each day we had lunch etc at the Mirimar or a nearby restaurant. In the past we have opften eaten at the Sis Pins.

We wish the new owners a very successful future and it is hoped we will be able to stay again.

Have just arrived back from a very enjoyable ten day stay. Was very apprehensive prior to arrival due to the reports on Trip Advisor regarding recommendation for sea view rooms, and the Cappochino restaurant.

First - Cappochino. Yes, it is a great pity that Sis Pins have taken the easy option to lease out their bar/restaurant, and there were certainly quite a few of return guests complaining about it. My complaint is with my tour operator, not the hotel, as we were sold a hotel with bar/restaurant facilities, and in fact the tour operator are still advertising the hotel as having such. Sis Pins is now purely a Bed and Breakfast establishment - not a hotel with hotel facilities. However, one point that no-one has made on the previous comments, is that you are perfectly free to sit in the Cappochino area all day if you want, without paying any of their extortionate prices, so long as you are staying at Sis Pins. However, if you use the sun beds on the sun bathing area (again leased out to Cappochino - it becomes part of their restaurant in the evening) you cannot even take a bottle of your own tap water with you!. However, as we prefer to eat out at different restaurants, the Cappochino question really did not affect us.

Another point not mentioned before - I was very anxious regarding having to have a room at the back of the hotel, as all reports recommended paying extra for a sea veiw. We were unable to have a sea view room as they were all booked. However, we were very glad we did not - my tip is to have a back (second floor) room. You will get quite a large balcony, and views over towards the mountains, and you will get all the mid/late afternoon/evening sun - at this time all the front rooms are in the shade. Regarding noise, yes you do get the bin men at 5.30 am but after two nights, we got used to it. I would think also that the sea view rooms will be very noisy as they are directly over the pedestrian area - and it is very busy - certainly until at least midnight. The sea view rooms are also considerably more than the back rooms - the extra varies according to the month - but I worked out that it would have cost us about £200 more in total.

This is a very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms (rather unfair that some have been refurbished and cost the same as equal rooms which havn't) and they all have 24 hour free air conditioning, a proper fridge, and full tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Towels were changed daily, and the beds were very comfortable. There is also free internet usage. Also, the safety deposit is only a 10 euro deposit, fully repayable.

If I was to be really picky, the only complaint I could find would be that the breakfasts are the same every day, the only difference being alternate days you get fried or scrambled eggs, and if you want scrambled on a fried day - forget it!!

I would certainly recommend the hotel and really would not bother to pay the extra for a sea view room - and don't forget, you can sit in the Cappochino area for as long as you like free of charge!!

This did seem to be the best hotel of its type in Porto Pollensa and if I was to go again, I would certainly stay there.

Room Tip: Not worth paying the extra for sea view rooms. Back rooms get more sun and have views over to mounta...
