“As good as ever”

Just a quick update to say we have been back to this wonderful hotel and it retains all the charm and elegance as it had before.

A quiet week this week, and even more it was like having our own personal mansion house. The same staff, the same level of attentiveness, a new chef has come in from our favourite restaurant in the area, no bad thing!

Still very highly recommended - and we hear it is busy in the summer so book early!

I found this place whilst browsing the net for a hotel which would give peace and tranquillity away from the crowds and allow recuperation following an op. I also read the glowing tributes in your other reviews. Could it really be this good? Well yes it was. It lived up to all our expectations. The house had an incredible situation overlooking the Port de Pollensa and its beautiful bay; how we enjoyed our evening pre-dinner apperitifs whilst taking in this vista. The old country estate house was quite stunning but rustic and induced a homely affinity in us. This 'family-feel' was further engendered by the genuine, helpful and friendly staff who had a total understanding of what customer service should be in modern times. We missed this place when we left to stay in our finca! Would I recommend it to others? Yes undoubtedly. Would we return? Of course!

My husband and I actually stayed at hotel Llenaire for our honeymoon in October 2007 and I have been meaning to write this review since because it was an unforgettable experience. We spent the first four days of our trip at the hotel and it was extremely romantic and relaxing, which we needed after our wedding and before we continued our exploration of Spain. The owners and staff were very helpful and welcoming and the room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and so are the views. One of the best parts was the restaurant in the hotel..the food was excellent and our waiter was probably the best we ever have had. I really cannot say enough positive comments about our amazing experience at Llenaire and we would love stay there again in the future without question!

Less than 1km from Puerto de Pollenca, Llenaire is 19th century stately home that has been converted into a beautiful hotel. The layout and interior are pretty much as it was and the conversion has been incredibly sympathetic to the original building. There is a large terrave facing the sea, a beautiful inner courtyard for dining. A pool and tennis court hidden in the gardens.

There is also a working farm where you can join in tending to the sheep or try your hand in the garden. The hotel food is based on produce it grows on its own farm.

In many ways it is hard to describe this hotel as it is perfect in its simplicity. The rooms are spacious and have everything you might need. And yet at the same time they are simple and reflect a true Mallorcan style. The public areas are awash with antiques and paintings - like many of the small museums you might visit. This is enhanced as it only has eleven rooms!

The service is casual but attentive with a small, very friendly and accommodating staff. To continue the home from home feel, there is nothing as vulgar as signing for anything. No check-in, not in the bar or at dinner. Everything is on trust.

Breakfast is from 0830 to 1100 - how it should be. Dinner is when you fancy and there are lunch snacks on the terrace from midday to 1500. The food is good, simple fish dishes brilliantly cooked and very flavoursome.

This is a hotel to relax and unwind in elegant and simple surroundings. If you want pampering, formal service and a spa - go elsewhere. If you want to live the live of a stately home - in the best way, amongst friends - then this is perfect.

This hotel, more than any other, reminds of Manoir - and between the two I think I would prefer to stay here. Just as elegant, but a little simpler and much more like being among family and not just another high end guest.

Long may it be so!

This was a welcome change after the Salvia Hotel in Soller. It is in a fantastic location up on a hill overlooking the port of Pollenca.
We were wamly greeted upon arrival and shown to impressive rooms (but at £350 euros per night it's not cheap!!!!)

The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient and the whole place has an opulent feel about it - beautifully furnished with original art work and very stylish indeed.

A car is advisable here, although we deliberately did not have one and the hotel is only to happy to lend bicycles free of charge. There is a great swimming pool and a hard surfaced tennis court - all very well maintained.

The food and wine are excellent and we ate at the hotel each night. The lunch menu is also very good.

All told, this is an impressive place, if somewhat overpriced.

Beware, however, those who prefer holidays far from children - there were several at this hotel (all well behaved, however!)

My Wife and I stayed for 10 nights in the Hotel LLENAIRE it is just perfect for a total unwind, the staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The building is beautiful with a special quality feel. The gardens and pool area are delightful. Our room overlooked the wonderful courtyard we did not feel that a sea view was worth the extra, anyway the beautiful panoramic view can be enjoyed from the terrace and pool areas.
It is certainly one the best hotels we have stayed in on Mallorca.
However, the whole experience could have been spoilt if someone had arrived with children we felt that the hotel would not be suitable for young children, the owners dissagreed and said that they were very welcome and the other guests would just have to be understanding, read into that what you will.
The LA RESIDENCIA in Daia has a no children time that is always totally booked.
Overall a very special holiday experience, we will go back.

This place really does feel family owned and the staff are very helpful. Need a car, no problem, they’ll arrange it. Need a bike? ditto. I agree with the other comments about the beauty of the house and grounds. Only problem was that the pool was freezing. Wake up early, and enjoy the sunrise from the terrace, and spend the rest of the day relaxing – you are in the right place.
They offered some good restaurant recommendations too, and send us a Christmas card every year. Nice.
