Singala is a small, friendly hotel in the outskirt of Port de Pollensa. Perfect for those who do not want to live in the midst of beach balls and shops selling useless souvenirs. nice and quiet. Outside the hotel there is a small supermarket which has everything you need. Hotel staff are helpful and competent. There is a good lockable storage space for bicycles.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at the wonderful Villa Singala. Called in last year and were shown around the hotel by the manager Josep. We immediately booked with Jet2. We cannot praise ALL the staff highly enough for making our stay a totally relaxing experience. Do not go if you want late drinking or disco music-the place is quiet after 10pm! Loved it-already planning to return

Room Tip: Book a room with a front balcony

We booked this hotel on the strength of the reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed! The staff really could not be nicer or more helpful.
Our room was very comfortable and equipped to city hotel standards (tv with English channels - unusual even in a city hotel) The bathroom had a walk-in shower and the towels were fluffy and soft. (There were toiletry dispensers, a pet hate of mine, but at least you don't run out!) And no annoying 'If you want to save the planet don't have the towels washed'!! signs.
We found the breakfasts very good and I especially enjoyed the croissants.
We have been staying in Puerto Pollensa for many years and this is a lovely quiet part of the resort - about a twenty minute walk into the centre. The biggest surprise, as it's not 'first line', was the sea-view from our second floor room.
As I said, believe the reviews!

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room with sea-view (No, you're not having our number!!)

Well, we have recently returned from YET ANOTHER wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Singala - we are absolutely hooked and each time only wish to return as soon as we leave! Like so many other guests we have fallen in love with this hidden gem and so visit again and again. Yes, it is simple with no fancy 'frills' but as other reviewers state, it is maintained to an exceptionally high standard.

The rooms are a decent size, and one's comfort is enhanced by the lovely beds, super shower, excellent air-conditioning, fridge and tea/coffee. The lounge is a very relaxed and welcoming space, as are the terrace bar area and pool. The former offers a cosy refuge on the occasional chilly or wet day while the latter are perfect for soaking up the sunshine with a good book and a very generous Gin & Tonic!

What makes Villa Singala so very special and unique is not really any of the above however. It is in fact the amazing team of staff who run the hotel with real efficiency and attention to detail. More than that though, every single member of the team is so genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly, and we must confess to shedding some tears on this last goodbye!

We visited here in April 2014. First impressions as we arrived were clean ,fresh, and quiet.
The young lady who checked us in couldn`t have been more genuinely pleasant or helpful.
We stayed in room 301. It is the uppermost part of the hotel, and has a magnificent, furnished, private roof terrace with views across Pine Walk and the bay.
The location is wonderful, set a short scenic walk from the hustle and bustle of the resort center and VERY quiet.
What makes the hotel is the staff. They are super friendly and very helpful. Nothing seems to much trouble for them, they have an excellent attitude.
The breakfast is plentiful and can be eaten on the terrace or the breakfast room. My one tiny criticism is that it could be a little more varied. eg eggs to order, variety of meats etc.
In saying that, I would happily return to this little gem of a hotel tomorrow and have no hesitation recommending it. Keep up the good work!

Room Tip: High floor balcony room facing the bay

My husband and I have just returned from 3 Nights at Villa Singala. This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel as we normally choose an apartment. The room was front facing with a balcony and we could just about get a glimpse of the sea. Balcony got sun in late afternoon into early evening and was lovely a to sit out for a while before going out for dinner. Our room had a double bed and also a single bed which did use up a lot of the space but was ok especially as we were only there for 3 nights. Bathroom was fairly small but did have a good shower. Breakfast was continental but had plenty of choice with cereal, fruit, cold meats, cheese, eggs, bread, rolls etc. Staff were lovely and always had time to acknowledge you in passing. Our first visit but I don't think it will be our last. Congratulations on running a lovely, welcoming small hotel

Can't praise this hotel highly enough. We stayed for a few days' cycling and were made to feel incredibly welcome - the staff were friendly, chatty and extremely helpful - of which more in a moment. The rooms are simple but comfy, clean and have free wifi. The location is secluded but right by the beach and a very short walk to the middle of town. The breakfasts are decent too. Oh, and they have secure storage for bikes, and never seemed to get grumpy at the constant requests to let us in and out of the secure area.

Best of all, though, the duty manager dug us out of a very big hole when we mis-timed our ride and ran out of daylight in the hills, eventually ending up stranded in Soller. One phone call back to the hotel, and a few minutes later a big taxi pulled up to collect us and our bikes and bring us back. Brilliant service. I'd definitely go back.
