“First Timers”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

We booked this hotel - on our first ever visit to Majorca - based on TA reviews and what was a good price for high season. We were not disappointed. The reviewer John-Watt makes some valid points which questions whether the consistent high ratings for this hotel mainly derive from "regulars". Yes, during our stay we met with a number of "regulars". However, I think a key point about this hotel is the overall package.
The continental breakfast is straightforward and without frills. Basic? yes, to a degree, but there is a limit to what you can do with pastries, cheese, meat and juices ! We noted/experienced some noise from above our room, but not to an extent worthy of complaint/issue.It is a multi-roomed hotel ! The rooms are to an extent dated in look and feel. Certainly no hint of Egyptian cotton sheets nor marble floored bathroom ! So why the excellent rating from us first timers ? As I say, it is the overall package. Rooms are spotlessly clean. This is maintained each and every day by superb maid service. The reception area is smart and modern. A nice terrace for breakfast or lunchtime snacks. Josep and his team are first class in their service to guests; nothing is too much trouble. The air conditioning was first rate and very welcome on several days. The hotel is literally 1minute back from the start of the quiet end of Pine Walk and beach spots readily available. A small but immacutely kept pool was a welcome contrast from the beach/sea. Check out how many other hotels offer a pool in the area: not many ! Finally, taking all of the above into account was the cost. No doubt to question the quality of any of the other hotels but a quick price comparison will reveal what a good deal/offer is to be had at Villa Singala. Thank you Josep and your team for a fabulous first visit to a beautiful resort !

Just returned from eight nights at Villa Singala. Fantastic location on the Pine Walk, very central position in a beautiful setting, very tranquil and literally a minute from the beach. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The service is first class and the continental breakfast good. There are many shops, bars and restaurants close by along the beachfront and the main square is only around a 20 minute walk away. There you will find a great atmosphere in the evenings with every type of restaurant imaginable from fine dining to traditional tapas. Fantastic holiday overall and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

We had the most wonderful holiday and the hotel and staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Josef the manager. The food was adequate and lots of fresh juice and fruit. we purchased lunch at the hotel on a few occasions and that was very good too. The hotel is situated one street back from the Pine walk and beach. All in all we had a wonderful time and chilled out totally. A nice quiet place to relax and enjoy.

Room Tip: I think we had the best room so I am not going to tell you

The Location is perfect and is only 50 metres from Singala beach on the famous pine walk the whole area is Idyllic.

The Villa Singala Is very exclusive and the staff are very attentive and helpful the service is first class and the accommodation is extremely clean and sheets are changed daily.
We highly recommend this hotel and also it's owner Joseph.
We will definitely book with Villa Singala again !

This is a charming little hotel. Clean and efficiently run by Josep and his staff. we experienced a delightful 7 night stay and would not hesitate to return, in fact already consulting the diary for the next visit. The hotel is well placed and enjoys a quiet and tranquil situation yet is within easy walking distance of the beach and the resort via the Pine walk. Our room was spotlessly clean and enjoyed a view towards the sea. The maid service faultless. The breakfast is continental with a good selection and was always well presented. Probably a hotel best suited to adults looking to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, although our 13 year old son didn't have any complaints........Perfect restful week. Thank you.

Room Tip: We were fortunate to have a room with a view towards the sea.

This hotel is what you want it to be. It is quiet both in nature and in location. The staff are efficient and caring and the manager is very effective. The rooms are well situated, with either a mountain or sea view. All rooms are well equipped, with a fridge, kettle, bottle opener, glasses, tv etc, all provided free of charge, very unusual for holiday type hotels of this sort. There is also free wifi! The breakfast is adequate and is continental with fresh fruit, cereals, toast etc. The pool is very very clean and we never had a problem with getting a sun bed..no need for 6am starts with towels etc. The main thing is this is a hotel for adults, not children and many guests go there for peace and quiet. You are so near the beach and the centre of the resort if you want a little more hustle and bustle. We would not hesitate to go back if ever we get another break without out little ones..perfect.

Room Tip: Top floor, either side depending on if you want a mountain view or a sea view..the sea can only be s...

Just come back from this hotel, it's small and quite basic but it's one of the loveliest little places I have ever stayed, because it's small you get a lovely friendly service and all the staff are so pleasant and lovely, the hotel only does a continental style breakfast so you don't have that greasy food smell lingering around, in fact the hotel always smelt so lovely and fresh, and was absolutely spotless. I will def be staying here again and would def recommend it to others, it's at the top end of Puerto pollensa which in my opinion is the nicest, very relaxed. Only thing I would point out is to try and book a room with a balcony.
