“Very good!”

7 days half board! Aparthotel...lovely suite, newley refurbished, room maids smiley and workhard! plenty of storage room, food good, room very clean - aircon ok-ish. We had mountain view room. Pool facing rooms quite noisey. Hired a car - mountain adventures. Lovely sandy beach. Resturants, shops along seafront. Visit a resturant in the market square - open till late :) beds & brolly... €12 a day!! Take kettle. Lots of familes round the pool. Beds go quickly. We headed for the beach....lovely and hot, sea breezes. We had a lovely time!

Just returned from a fantastic 2 week break at this hotel! Great location......just a 5 min walk down to the beach, which has lots of restaurants to choose from and some stalls to walk around at night. The reception, restaurant and bar staff are all extremely helpful and hard working and the cleaners/groundsmen work tirelessly keeping the rooms, pool area and grounds spotless. Our room had a mountain view, which was nice and quiet but to be honest the entertainment finishes around 10.30/11pm, so other than a few people sitting on the terrace afterwards, it was never very noisy anyway. A big thank you to Ingrid, Thomas, Emma and Gary from the 'Animacion' team for making our daughter's first holiday such a memorable experience. She loved every minute of it, from the mini club, to the disco and evening shows and joining in with the French bowls and Sjoelen!! Team Hoddit and Doddit are looking forward to coming back next year .

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Very clean rooms and pool area. Great pool area for the kids. The food was nice particularly the Asian night. The kids enjoyed the entertainment every night. It was a nice relaxing holiday and we didn't really venture too far except to the Pine Walk which was 5 minutes away. This resort is all about relaxation and nice food. Good family hotel.

Room Tip: Block A has a lift if you have an elderly relative who can't go up and down stairs. If you need...

Food is very good, and there's plenty of choice. The ice-cream and profiteroles are especially more-ish!

Entertainment was great - especially the acrobats. My 4 yo just loved the parrot and reptile shows, and still talks about them.

Good location near the beach etc, but we also happily spent quite a few days just by the pool rather than going to the beach.

Rooms are comfortable and in great condition. Very clean. If I had one slight issue it's that the aircon was 'fixed' at 21 degrees and although we were there in June it was unseasonably warm which meant it was really uncomfortable to sleep etc

we have just returned from a week here with my mum, husband and boys 3 and 6, lovely hotel and spotless facilities, the staff were all brilliant and loved the kids made a real effort, we had a mountain view which was very cool and quiet, we will definitely be coming back here. Anyone on here who complains about the food needs their head testing !!! the food was lovely and loads of choice, the boys loved serving themselves, the only thing i have to say is the room was quite hot and could do with the aircon being higher!!! the kids also loved the mini disco and adult entertainment was good

We have just returned from our fourth visit to Puerto Azul and loved every minute of it.
What really makes this place for me, apart from constant sunshine and accessibility to the Pine Walk, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They really are a lovely bunch of people and are the main draw for me to return to this venue. From being accommodating to room requests at Reception to specific food preparation in the Restaurant, nothing is too much trouble.
The Bar Staff are fantastic too, in particular Alberto who is such a decent chap. A child fell from a chair and he couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring to that child.
The newly refurbished rooms are much fresher looking, although a few more coat hangers in the wardrobe wouldn't go amiss as storage space is minimal for clothing.
The walk in shower is far more powerful now and the sofa in the living area is very comfortable.
The pool area is clean and the gardens are well maintained. There are plenty of sun loungers available, even after a late return from Market on a Wednesday.
Already looking forward to my holiday next year.

We stayed at the above hotel for 2 weeks in May and had an excellent holiday. The hotel is an apartment hotel and the rooms we had were spacious with a separate lounge/dining area as well as the double bed room and bath room. The lounge sofa opens into a double bed, should this be needed. This hotel is ideal for people with young families as there are 3 swimming pools of various depths to satisfy all swimmers of varying ability. Apart from these there is a small pool table, a sand pit for the very young, two tiny “street football” machines, a dart board and a French Boulle pit. The hotel has an animation team who strive to make the best of these meagre facilities and the entertainment that they arrange varies from poor to quite good. The reception area is large with a bar and 24 hour staffed desk. It is within this area that the nightly entertainment was held, starting with kids disco.

My wife and I (and the friends we went with) are in our seventies and are capable (just) of lugging our suitcases up flights of stairs without the aid of a lift. If, however, you are unable to match our capabilities, ensure that the room you are allocated is serviced by a lift to your floor. Ours was not. We were up 2 flights of stairs where the lift was situated up on the 1st flight but went to the 3rd flight as a first stop. Whoever designed this layout was incompetent. Twice during our stay, we helped hapless seniors with their luggage to their rooms on floors not serviced by lifts. How many more were left stranded could be anyone’s guess.

The main restaurant serves breakfast and dinner whilst a poolside snack bar serves just that at lunch time. The food was usually plentiful and excellent. There was a Spanish flavour to it all as to be expected but the “Full English” was available at breakfast and second to none. The waiters were friendly and very helpful. However, the hotel Manager was seen in the restaurant with a lighted cigarette – not the best example to be setting staff or guests!

The rooms were kept clean and serviced daily. A bathroom towel rail fell off the wall during our stay (it had been glued, not screwed.) This was reported to reception and fixed same day. Reception staff, we found, were aloof and with a tired demeanour. Bright and breezy personalities they were not. The manager of the hotel kept a close eye on all services but transgressed as already stated. He was surly and not readily approachable in our opinion.

The hotel is situated well back from the beach but is less than 5 minutes stroll away. Puerto Pollensa is a lovely resort with many restaurants, bars and cafes. The many beaches are clean with fine white sand and the waters are crystal clear. If you enjoy walking, then this is nirvana. We organised our own trips to Alcudia old town and also to Alcudia beach. We also spent a day in the capital Palma – well worth a second visit. We also took a boat trip to Formentor and Cabo Formentor. All in all a very enjoyable holiday but the hotel does have shortcomings. Still – Puerto Pollensa has a lot of other hotels to choose from!
