“Fantastic villa, perfect location”

We travelled as an extended family of 7, comprising 5 adults and 2 children (ages 8 and 3). We have previosuly rented large villas of this type in the Algarve for a number of years. This was our first trip to Port de Pollenca and it did not disappoint!

On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised with a useful pack of provisions, which was so welcome as it meant we didn't have to do the usual supermarket dash no sooner than arrive!

The fixtures and fittings in the villa were of a very high standard and importantly there was plenty of comfortable lounge, dining (indoor and outdoor) seating and sunbeds. Often times we have found only 6 chairs for an 8 person villa, but not so at Los Pinos! The beds were so comfortable that we even checked the mattresses at the end of the two weeks to see what make they were so we might find them back in the UK!

The heated pool was fantastic for children and adults alike. Staggeringly it remained a very conformable 29-30 degrees the entire 2 weeks. My personal highlight was the large covered seating area (loggia) poolside, which was perfect for breakfast, lunch and lazy bbqs... the table tennis table also provided perfect family entertainment.

The villa was ideally located for us in a lovely quiet, largely residential area, yet within a 10 minute flat walk of the super beach. To walk into the centre of town near the marina took maybe 20 minutes but again it was reasonably flat and pleasant. On a night when we ate out we got a taxi back from the main rank at the marina which cost 7 Euros.

Food shopping was very straightforward and reasonably priced at the well-stocked Lidl a few minutes drive up the main road.

My husband is a keen cyclist and hired a super bike from Mallorca Cycle Hire (Phil Axe) - he tells me the cycling was fantastic and the villa well-located for accessing the different routes.

During the booking process the owner Tony couldn't be more helpful, answering our numerous questions! Whilst we were there he was also very attentive checking all was OK on arrival and throughout. A problem with the air-conditioning was very quickly resolved by both Tony and the management team. We also stupidly managed to lock ourselves out of the villa one evening on our way out to dinner and the management company were fantastic - they had someone there to sort it out within half an hour! Also with noting is that there was a twice weekly clean and linen change.

I would caution that the the villa does have a steep driveway and after the first couple of days we found it better to reverse in and drive out (slowly!), rather than the other way round.

Port de Pollenca itself is a really lovely, family friendly (not at all tacky) resort. There are many excellent restaurants and the beaches and scenery are truly beautiful. Nearby Cala Sant Vicenc is also absolutely stunning and well worth a trip.

All in all, a super family holiday and I would certainly recommend Villa Los Pinos.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 19 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Great location, quiet but only a short walk to sea front and lots of lovely restaurants. Villa is very clean and tidy with loads of space for large groups with on suites, washer drier and lovely spacious kitchen. Plenty of room to relax around the large pool and evening barbaques. Surrounding areas are excellent for cycling, walking and water sports, would recommend to anyone and will certainly stay again.

“Beautiful Villa, excellent location”

Stayed here with a group of 6 for a cycling holiday in April 2016. The location was ideal, walking distance from the beach and centre of Port De Pollenca but in a quieter end of town, but with supermarkets and a couple of bars just a stones throw away. The villa itself was beautiful. Clean, spacious and modern with a well equipped kitchen, large comfortable living room, dining area and incredibly comfortable beds. The bathrooms (almost all en suite) were all clean with great showers, and a bath in the master bathroom.
On rainy days where we couldn't ride bikes there was plenty within the villa to make up for being stuck in, including table tennis (outside but in a covered terrace area) and the nicely heated pool saved what could've been a less fun time. The kitchen allowed us to cook most meals in to save money and prepare for long rides etc.

In short, an excellent place to stay for any sort of holiday in Mallorca, would highly recommend.
