Really liked this place. Popped in one evening about 8:15 and the place was empty but the owner, who was very friendly, put us at ease and shortly after the place began to fill rapidly. Point to note is that if you wish to ensure getting a table get in before 9:00 pm as here, like many places in Puglia, locals eat from 9:00 onwards.
The food was delicious being a succession of antipasti type dishes, rather like a Tapas style eatery, accompanied by glasses of various wines recommended by our host who spoke only a little English; so try out your Italian! My favourite was a hot dish of what I believe was capocallo served on what I can only described as a pancake or blini. Really good! The wines were delicious and, of course, local so no real chance of tasting them again outside a return to Ruvo. So, not your typical restaurant more wine/tapas bar but very enjoyable and reasonably priced.
