I maybe different from all other reviews here. I can say we just had an unfortunate event during our stay in this resort. But overall, the resort is awesome. Simple, very Filipino style, native indeed. Pleasant rooms. like a spa room. Even their comfort room is very nice. I am very strict when it comes to the cleanliness of the comfort room and Oasis resort exceeded my expectation.

This resort is located in the middle of Alona beach. I also liked their buffet international breakfast. Their swimming pool is also very nice. Though at night, there are mosquitoes around since the theme of this resort is like a garden. So be careful especially if with children.

The downside here is to book in advance. Make sure you have a hard copy of your reservations via email. Because during our time, we had a misunderstanding with the receptionist. She didn't ask us first if we will going to extend or not. She already accepted another guest without even asking us first. She just informed us to pack our things and be ready to check out because there is another guest who will occupy our room. That line from her pissed me off big time. She didn't even give us some assistance in transferring to other resorts. Our whole day got wasted looking for another resort.

Room Tip: Choose the garden bungalows, the one in front of the pool.

Nice, decent sized room. Air-con, fridge, shower. Good food. There are 2 places you can eat; on the beach and in the restaurant area near rooms (which has a better atmosphere). There's a pool with areas so sunbathe around it.

The staff are all really friendly and accomodating. Lots of nice fruit shakes on offer. Wi Fi. There's loads of bars and restaurants all along the beach - this island is growing quickly.

I'd reccomend it to anyone. I'd return if in the area again.

Quality, food (especially the buffet-breakfast), service, diving services were more than excellent. Was the second time I've been there after 2002 and the quality is still on top.

This is a very nice property, great location, good food and fantastic diving. The resorts grounds are very pretty and well cared for. Our room was very large but basic which i suspect they all are. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Our room had a safe, refridgerator, AC and a hot water shower. The furnishings was very simple nothing fancy here with a desk, chair and and some bamboo shelving for you things. We had a nice veranda overlooking the pool. The AC was noisey and the room smelled musty when we first checked in. Keep in mind this is a 2 star filipino resort. The room was all we needed.we didn't spend that much time in the room, there was so much to do and keep us busy. What was lost on the rooms was made up by the grounds, pool, service and and probably the best food on the beach.

The included breakfast buffet was very good.. Eggs made to order, pancakes, bacon, fruits, toast, and a variety of other sfuff. While not nearly as nice as the Shangri-La's breakfast buffet the Oasis certainly satisfies.

The resort dive shop "Seaquest Diver's" is also excellent. They are well run, good equipment and really knowledgable diver masters.

For my money this place cant be beat.

Nice place. We loved the resort because this villa's are in the middle of the garden and pool. We have been several times in eco resorts in Costa Rica and this resort could be a copy of the lodges over there. So, beautiful. It is very well located because walking out of the resort you're on Alona Beach. The resort is mainly for people who are also diving and that is what have done too. Nice walls under water with beautiful coral. I had some current and it was basically doing nothing and looking at the coral as like watching a movie. We also went to a small Island for snorkling (you can book this at the dive school at the resort). This is a very good spot and a good alternative if you're not diver. Don't forget to go a) for the excursion with the boot on the river (nice buffet and live music, all-in the price); b) Butterfly Sanctuary and c) Chocolate Hills.

Very nice place with friendly and helpful staff. The majority of the rooms set out in a lovely garden and pool area in small buildings each comprising two separate hotel rooms. You get a nice verandah to sit out on, a double and single bed, desk, kettle/tea/coffee, fridge, aircon unit and safe. Bathroom is large with shower/toilet and sink. Pool is lovely and warm and plenty of sun lounges. There is a bar/restaurant at the hotel reception as well as a bar serving food right on the beach. Breakfast is served at the bar/restaurant at the hotel reception area and is good - egg station, toast, bacon, corned beef, fesh fruit, tea/coffee/juice, cereals etc. I loved the location - set back from the beach but actuallr right in the middle of Alona Beach - quiet yet so close to the resort facilities.

This resort was recommended to us by two separate friends. The location on the beach is good, the food is great, nice rooms, helpful, efficient and polite staff, fantastic dive shop. What more could you ask for?? It has a very nice secluded pool and the rooms are set back from the beach so you don't hear the noise. It was my third visit to Bohol and definitely my favourite resort.
