“We will always remember this place, had a great time”

I stayed here for a few days with my fiancee and my opinion is: there are lots of reasons to complain for people who like to complain. But this place has reasonable prices and we liked the relaxed atmosphere. When we arrived in Tagbilaran we talked to a rep for the Bohol Beach Club and were pissed off by their rates. Actually they charge extra for the second room accupant even if breakfast is not included in the price. So we talked to the driver to take us somewhere else. I believe it depends on your attitude if you like this place or not. Since we were happy together we overlooked the flaws, you find them anywhere.

They played the same game with us telling us that no more rooms where available except the suite for 2,800. We accepted, it was still cheaper than the Beach Club and later we transferred to a "Superior Room" that was actually nicer than the Suite for 1,800 a night. I asked them for a mango to feed their monkey and they actually charged me 65 pesos.... Well, a resort is not a non-profit organization but I would return. We had a great time.

It's a budget resort, they have a pool also and a lot of rooms. Our room was spacious with a big refrigerator, but there was no phone. Imagine you had to walk to the front desk for everything. Service was also so-so, not that I'd expect much. It was really the beach that I loved so much, so the room didnt matter much anymore when most of the time I was outside. haha. We stayed in an Executive twin room, with my lil sis having the extra bed on the floor.

Booking with them is a nightmare!! I've been bouncing emails back and forth and have been asking the same questions but haven't been given the details I needed. As simple an instruction as to provide the booking and payment details and they could not give it in just one reply. What kind of service would you expect?!

We stayed here for almost a week. We had a blast at the beach front. The best! They are lucky that the beach compensated very well the poor service from their restaurant staff. One waiter there should be fired because he obviously does not represent the Filipino hospitality. However, we really enjoyed the beach. Just don't mind the restaurant staff, they don't deserve tips. Lastly, the rooms are clean but not well lit.

We've spent an overnite at Dumaluan Beach Resort last June 06, 2009. For an affordable price. We stayed at their close nipa hut (Don't know why it is not being mention in their site) with fan only. With commond restroom and shower. The nipa can accomodate 4 to 5 person. They have nice beach front. Just beside bohol beach club. The food from the resort is quite costly, but you can buy from a nearby grill house. They also have swimming pool. But you have to pay per head if you stayed in the nipa hut. If we have a chance will stay at this place again

My partner and I went here for a three days and two nights at first I was impresed with the place but after settling in the first thing that the tourist told us was the service was really so bad. And also with the front desk their calculation of our bill was wrong they texted us that there was a mistake with the computaton. Duh!!! But if you want a cheap place to stay these place is god but dont eat here its not worth your money...

Staying at Dumaluan Beach Resort 2 is a good experience and recommended for those who wants to stay in Panglao, Bohol but on a stiff budget. I suggest you call the resort first [--] so you could know what to expect on the rooms you are going to reserve. We stayed there for 3D/2N and so far we are satisfied with what we got on Php1,300 per night stay. The room is not classy, but comfortable enough: clean sheets, with toiletries, and bath towels are changed daily. The room is airconditioned but no ref and TV (but hey, did you go to Bohol just to watch TV and eat on your room?). But if you insist, there are rooms that have this accomodation. Yes, their food is kinda expensive, but as you stroll along Alona beach, you can see sari-sari stores, grilled food(Php70 to Php250++) and locals selling food that is affordable and you can bring to your room. The resort has a pool that you can dive on if you don't feel like swimming on the beach (ek?). I would also recommend that if you want to rent a boat for island hopping and dolphin watching, you can contact local fishermen/boatmen and you can haggle. For Bohol countryside tour, I highly recommend Mang Jaime [--].
