“Rustic yet luxurious”

Our organization had a conference at the Bee Farm for 5 nights and it was awesome. Our room for 3 was like a suite with a King-sized bed, a living area, kitchenette and a super modern bathroom. While there's no beach to swim at, the resort overlooks the ocean and each of the several restaurants has an ocean view. There's 2 covered swimming pools, one for small children, and 3 jacuzzis on the patio area. The food is all organic, the herbs are grown on the property and honey is used in almost every dish. Lots of trees abound and several species of birds can be seen including the Red-Keeled Flowerpecker, the Olive-backed Sunbird, the Purple-throated Sunbird and tons of Asian Glossy Starlings. You can take a guided tour around the resort. They also have a gift shop selling all kinds of lotions, honey, bags, etc. made with organic materials. They also make their own ice cream.

Room Tip: Stay in the new 3 story building. The corner units are bigger and sleep 3. All the rooms in this b...

Been here last june5-7 with my family. Bee Farm exceeded my expectation. Upon check-in I was told that my room has been upgraded without extra charge. How sweet is that? I instantly fell in love with the place, reminds me of Sonyas Garden and Balay Indang with a magnificent view of the ocean plus absolutely yummy food. We had a complimentary breakfast at the Lantaw Restaurant which has a captivating view of the ocean. Just be aware that the place is so serene, it has no night life at all, so it is good for those who are soul searching, and people who are into nature and tranquility. Resort workers are always after our needs when we need something, they are always there in an instant, very helpful and attentive. they also offer free airport pick up and transfer. we will definitely go back here

2. Excellent ORGANIC foods.
3. VERY friendly staffs.
4. Very relaxing place.
5. Eco friendly place.
6. They are supporting the livelihood of Boholanos.
7. Budget friendly.

This bed and breakfast place is not bad for the rate they charge. It is not really a farm. They have all sorts of potted plants around and shrubs and bushes from which they get the flowers to make a delicious salad. They offer a farm tour which includes a couple of bee hives but these are just for display. They do have a bee farm in a faraway location where the bees produce honey but as this is not in Panglao Island where the resort is.

We took a bungalow and were pleased with it. Outside were a lots of trees and the whole place had a bucolic ambiance. The breakfast was nice taken over a dining area overlooking the sea. The pancake was tasty. They have a selection of icecream is to die for.

The place is on a hill side overlooking the sea and does really have a beach to speak of. So if are looking for a place along the sea side, this not the place to be.

We stayed for one night and were glad we booked the place.

We were able to extend our day tour to finish at Bohol bee farm. Although not included on the Bohol day tour we were able to see the place and take snacks at the restaurant. We were not able to take the bee farm tour since we arrive bit late in the afternoon. The place it so great if you love nature. Trees, vines, flowers, farms etc.. Overlooking view to the sea was great also. I was able to taste flower salad. Flowers were edible, Taste weird but yummy.

Downside is They have a pool, but quite small. Road going to Bohol bee farm from main road is not so good. I hope it will be fix by now.

The place is highly recommended to those traveller with kids.

I love the entire Bohol Bee Farm facility from its gardens to the crafting area, to the shop. Unfortunately while we were there the Cave swimming pools were undergoing repairs so we couldn't swim, but we took advantage of the outdoor jacuzzis on the first night. They serve food using their own organic ingredients. I didn't really like the food (unfortunately) but my husband really enjoyed it. I guess I'm not a fan of natural, organic food. I did like their mango and pesto spreads on squash bread, as well as their molave honey, which sadly, I think we left at the room or at another of our travel stops. We stayed at the Banana Room and it had a really strong musty, "old" smell on the first day, which made me sick, but I got used to it and felt fine during the rest of our stay. They do have free wifi but it doesn't reach some of the rooms... at least ours anyway, so if we needed to use the internet, we had to hang out in the lobby, which is open air so it can sometimes get quite humid. If you're looking for a more rustic location that will take you closer to nature, you should try the Bohol Bee Farm.

We were at BBF just last March 28-31. Our room was upgraded from the Bungalow type to Honeycomb suite which was a two-storey room, with 2 bathrooms, large beds and large sofa beds on each floor..super comfortable. And the best part was the upgrade was FREE!

Food was delicious but my children did not like the organic rice. Twas a good thing that white rice was available. Breakfast was the best..very tasty pancakes, the most delicious chocolate drink I have ever tasted..

My son and I woke very early to see the sunrise at the view deck of BBF. And it was amazing...

BBF made our first trip to Bohol unforgettable..Will definitely come back..:D

Room Tip: Choose their honeycomb suite..Arrange for your transportation to the seaport/airport earlier to avoi...
