As the name suggests, this roadhouse is located just before the border of W.A. heading into Western Australia. This stop also gives you the chance to stop and eat any fruit and nuts you may be carrying due to strict quarantine checks only 50 meters away.

Also don't carry any vegetables or honey into W.A, so plan ahead.
The burgers and toasted sandwiches are also great here, as are many of the road side stops along the Nullarbor.
Most rooms are also average to say the least, but this is the norm along here, especially having travelled this stretch of road many times in the past.
Don't expect anything over 3 star here.

After a 1200 Km trip in the one day this was a welcome stop. We rang ahead a few hours before arriving. The room was clean and as the motel was not full guests had been placed in rooms to ensure quiet and privacy, well done to the person organising where guests were placed. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Small, dirty rooms, funky smell, bleach left on toilet that stained my trousers, dripping shower, dirty sheets, coffee stains & dead insects on bench.

On the plus side, great meals & service in the restaurant.

In comparison to what we had seen crossing the Nullarbor, this was a definite improvement. Tiny room but reasonably fresh and clean. Staff were ok and so was the meal in the restaurant. We would stay again if we were making the same trip.

Room Tip: Would be worth paying for the deluxe room. Flying insects were in plague proportions. Keep your door closed.

The total facility is probably the best of the road houses on the Nullarbor. The restaurant and bar are clean, spacious and friendly. There is a wide selection on the menu. The accommodation is OK nothing flash but it is clean and far enough off the highway that the road noise is hardly noticeable.
