We were here with 5 other couples for anniversary break. ~The staff all seemed very friendly and our waitress Doris (a Polish lady) was very good with us. My main problem was that if you arrive after the restaurant has opened the queues for the buffet/carvery get very long and it is only open for 1 1/2 hours. Breakfast is good usually with plenty there. The poll is satisfactory - on most occasions when I went in there were not too many people there. Plenty to do, such as bowls, croquet, massage, tennis, snooker and entertainment in the evening. I don't know about internet (after all I go on holiday and leave the laptop at home) but I did understand that some complained it was not very good. We had a signature Room which was very well equipped with large bed, tv, dvd player, mini fridge. We returned the dressing gowns/slippers we had ordered because they were too small. Our room overlooked a small fountain which was not switched on very often. the grounds did look a bit dry and sorry for themselves, but with the weather being so 'odd' there is not a lot the groundsmen can do. all in all a good week

Room Tip: rooms overlooking the gardens are slightly cooler

We have visited here many times and feel that the gardens were looking a little neglected. The summer bedding plants had been set but were very dry and there were weeds in the beds and borders. The parking was a problem which we have never encountered before. The room overlooked the garden and was very warm despite having the window open all day. The food was good quality with plenty of choice for a gluten free diet and an extremely understanding waitress. The entertainment was good but not as high a standard as usual. The bar staff did not seem too keen to serve a woman at the bar as on two occasions men were served before me despite being there before them. The swimming pool and sports facilities were very good and the staff very helpful.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms cooler than garden facing ones.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I have noted all your comments and spoken to the relevant departments to ensure your feedback is acted up on. As always our gardens are a huge part of the holiday experience and although battling with the extreme weather we have had this year I know the summer bedding will be beautiful once in full bloom in a couple of weeks. Kind Regards Phil

Just had a 4 day break here. Plenty of entertainment during day. Gym, sauna, steam room, beauty spa. Had a superb massage. Pool a little on the small side and you can tend to knock people as you are swimming. Rooms are a decent size and comfy, very clean. Signature rooms have a fridge. Extra tea coffee and milk provided if you leave the maid a little note. We had a couple of issues with our room, loose door handle, locked safe which were sorted within a very short time. Good evening entertainment. Food was superb, excellent choice and our waiter Matthew was polite, pleasant and couldn't have done enough for us. There is a well stocked gift shop that sells newspapers and magazines and it isn't overpriced.the staff in general throughout the hotel are pleasant and helpful. Just a word of warning the hot water in the room is very hot. Some lovely walks round here too. First time at warners and will definitely book another one

Room Tip: All rooms are in a good position. In warm weather rooms get warm at night and there is no aircon

The downside of this hotel is the useless WiFi. To access it one needs to be in reception or adjacent area but even then Outlook does not work. So if you want to access emails you have to go to the underlying site which is not very helpful. Food is mainly buffet for the main course with starters and desserts to order. There are a few mains that can be ordered. However on our last night, when we wanted something special, the mains to order were absolutely useless. Who wants sausages or burgers for a special meal? We did that an excellent waitress from Poland who wants to be called Doris and she certainly made the meal times.

Room Tip: Sea facing rooms actually face East and the rising sun shines in in June at about 0530.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you had difficulty with the WIFI. The problems you experienced do not seem to effect everyone but this week we are installing a new router which will eradicate the email access issues. I note your other comments and I will share your review with Doris who I am sure will be pleased that she made your meal times for you. Regards Phil

We went with a coach party but travelled separately by car, but we were put in a standard room which was on the second floor and didnt have any disabled facility my mother had a walker and i was on crutches and there was a massive walk to the room, there were no parking facitlies that i ended up parking on double yellow lines and on verges, i was expecting my car to be towed on a daily basis. The lift was very small, only room for mum and her walker and me at a squeeze, and trying to negotiate the lift and the doors to the room were not very easy. The staff were so run off their feet and the hotel was packed that i couldnt get another room. The dining was better, you had allocated tables for your stay and the waiters were very friendly. Tip, get to dining early, otherwise you will have a long wait for the carvery. Highlight of the week was Kimika the entertainment, very funny. I would rate a Premier Inn with better facilities.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a ground floor room and one near to reception if you have any disability as the ho...

This hotel is great for the older generation, and those with walking disabilities. Signature rooms, were spacious with good size bathrooms, and very adequate tea trays, and toiletries. Food was just about OK, but a bit of a bun fight for the buffet/ carvery. Waiter was run off his feet. Sadly the wifi was problematical, it was meant to be available in a very limited part of the hotel, but didn't come up to scratch, we had to leave the hotel to receive emails, often finding coffee shops with free wifi. Mobile phones, were usually out of range, and only useful for emergency calls. Reception in front of house was not at all helpful, and if you had a problem after 9pm - well tough luck, because whoever was sat at desk, was not prepared to help. Parking was not easy, it is an enormous hotel, and many cars were forced to park on the grass or double yellow lines.
Needless to say, we won't be returning, until we are unable to holiday anywhere else.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for a sea facing view, signature room, on ground flour with patio.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. With regard to the points raised I will be investigating and I apologise for any inconvenience caused. I am pleased to inform that we will shortly be investing in a significant improved WI-FI offering but in the meantime are more than happy for guests to borrow our facilities if they need to. I was somewhat surprised with your comments on our night team as this is not something that has ever been mentioned before but I will obviously be discussing this with them. It was good to hear you were pleased with your signature room and overall felt the hotel was good for a short break. Kind Regards Phil
