“Late Lunch”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Stopped here for a late lunch with my husband and teenage son after stopping at two other pubs nearby who were not serving food, and who had a particularly bad attitude.

Glad we did stopped here, staff really friendly and chatty, food was excellent and plenty of choice. Would definitely go back there again not your standard pub, fab if you want to visit somewhere different.

Thanks to the team for an entertaining time, and the fabulous food :) x

“Guns on display if people not eating at the same time!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

1st visit was great, great tasting food, but we were the only people eating in the restaurant,2nd visit wasn't as good,3 big family's in,we were 1 of them, waited ages for food & my steak meal cost £14.50! Cheap steak, over fried onion rings, frozen chips & most of the plate was made up of salad! Kids wanted to look at the amazing gun display but got stared out by the people eating in that room, would be better if there were no tables in that room or even better a small play ground for the kids outside, there is nothing for kids to do outside or inside, yet they welcome "well behaved kids" :-/

“Its Ok, don't expect too much”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Its not bad, if you don't expect too much. A little over priced for what you get and the place is very odd but not sure if that is an Island thing. We had Sunday lunch, no peas which was strange, it looks dirty but that might just be the strangeness of the place, staff ok.

“Family Meal”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

Very friendly if you like life in the 80's food ok but bland, steak at £14.50 would expect to be good at the price but frying steak... And cooked like in water, orange juice very cheap. Glasses dirty ... Shame really but 1st impressions do count, should of done a u turn. But at least we tried it and wouldn't return.
