1 Drayton Villas is in a great location...we have had some great walks with our small dogs already.
The apartment is very comfortable & Angela has provided plenty of small amenities to make it feel like a home.
We are more than happy with everything so far.

Thank you very much for the review. I have to regretfully agree that the parking situation has become more difficult and realistically, at least in the main holiday season, it is best not to rely on parking immediately outside but to drop off luggage etc and then park around the Green which is about 100 yards away at the top of the road.

The apartment is very well located so its possible to be on the beach or by the harbour within minutes . It is only a short walk to the local shops, restaurants and post office in St Helens .
The apartment is well appointed in a quiet road and I would visit again.

Great facilities, fantastic location
Lovely flat with everything you need for a comfortable break, in a great location just a short walk down to the beach and harbour. Lots to do nearby, and lots of good pubs. Don't miss the car boot sale on the village green on Sunday mornings, the Fish and Chip van on Saturday nights and make sure you get down for a relaxing coffee or lunch at the Baywatch cafe on the beachfront.

St Helen’s Duver (a sandy dune area of coastline) and the shoreline around the area are noted for their extraordinary variety of maritime plants and wildlife, and much of the coastline in the immediate vicinity is under the care of the national Trust. Nevertheless there are many child-friendly sandy beaches which are relatively quiet all the year round. The larger resorts of Ryde, Shanklin and Sandown are only a short drive or bus trip away.
The historic village green, one of the largest in existence, is bordered by picturesque cottages, and all village amenities including two restaurants, a selection of shops, a bus stop, children’s play area and the village pub.
A greater variety of shops and facilities are to be found in the nearby village of Bembridge. Bembridge is known for its harbour, said to be a haunt for pirates in bygone days, and is now an attractive venue for the sailing community.
Both villages are situated between the Downs and the sea so that the tourist can alternate between forays into the countryside and the coast.
Getting around
All parts of the island can be accessed for visits and day trips by car or bus (check the routes with Southern Vectis).
The island is also perfect for walking and cycling.
Access
Car not needed
How to get there
There are up to 350 ferry crossings a day to the Isle of Wight. The most convenient car ferries are from Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel) or Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink). The passenger ferries are from Portsmouth to Ryde (book all the way to Ryde Esplanade on your train ticket) or Southampton to West Cowes and onwards by bus. Online booking tends to be cheaper.
