“Excellent Stay”
Reviewed 9 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed at the end of August and beginning of September. Lovely house, lovely peaceful location, and lovely views. Very clean, well-equipped and well-maintained. It is modestly-sized, and has only one bathroom, but that is reflected in the modest price. The shower was much appreciated.

I can't really add anything to rest of 5-star reviews.

Simon was pleasant and efficient, and returned our damage deposit promptly.

“Book early, book often.....book NOW!”
Reviewed 29 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

I stayed in Deri Mhor for five nights in late August along with my wife, her sister and my three year old nephew. Unfortunately there is little I can add to the many accolades already delivered other than to agree!

The house is well maintained, well-appointed and very comfortable. Gardens front and rear are well maintained and the deck area would be ideal for relaxing summer evenings. Both gardens are fenced, gated and safe for kids – though it may be worth packing a bungee cord or short length of rope to further secure the front gate if you have little ones.

The kitchen had everything we needed including salt, pepper, tea and coffee. If you were planning to eat ‘at home’ you might consider a few of those disposable foil oven trays for convenience.

It’s worth saying that our neighbour was welcoming and friendly – not always the case in holiday lets.

Kenmore village is well kept and quite lovely. There are a number of distilleries in the area, I chose Edradour, once Scotland’s smallest distillery. Other highlights included the Hermitage at Dunkeld, Castle Menzies, outside Aberfeldy and Scone Palace. My nephew especially enjoyed the foraging opportunities and was often red-faced from wild raspberries, blackberries and bilberries.

As for Wi-Fi? It was a pleasure to be unconnected for a few days!

“What a view!”

Lovely clean, cozy cottage. The view every morning down the loch is a treat for the eyes - better than anything on TV.

“Very relaxing few days”
Reviewed 24 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We had a lovely time at Deri Mhor and will definitely return in the futute. Located perfectly in Kenmore, the house was cosy and well presented, with a lovely wood-burning stove in the living area. It's a great house in a scenic village that, thrillingly, has more bars than you may expect.

“Idyllic retreat on the stunning banks of Loch Tay”
Reviewed 17 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Deri Mhor is right on the edge of the charming conservation village of Kenmore, which has excellent bars and restaurants (we tried three, and liked them all), a couple of shops (the most useful one only about 100m from the cottage). The cottage is immacuately appointed, well designed and furnished to a very good standard. The log-burning stove warms the place through quickly, is easy to use, and is fun for city-dwellers such as us. From the sitting room and the front bedroom you have stupendous views straight up to Loch Tay, to the heights of the Ben Lawers mountain range - superb. We will certainly return here - perfect cottage for a countryside break.
