This was our second visit to Cliff Cottage and it lived up to our expectations 100%. The Cottage is located in the most beautiful spot, easy walking (or getting the train) into St Ives, access to beaches and Cliff walks. We adore this place, it's calming and beautiful. We saw seals and dolphins too! Wake up from a brilliant sleep in the lush beds and potter down to the beach from your own path for a spot of paddle boarding, a swim or simply making sand castles. Deborah keeps the Cottage spotless, there is so much character that it'd be a shame to change it in any way. It's a perfect holiday home, hopefully we'll be back in 2015!

We stayed in this charming Georgian property last week. The views and the path down to the beach are idyllic, but you cannot trade on views and location alone. We saw photos of the scullery and the 1950 s cooker. As we did not intend cooking it was unimportant, Had pictures of the bathroom and upstairs w,c been included we would not have rented this property at all. There is no hand basin in the w,c and the bathroom only had a bath which took ages to fill and there was not enough hot water for two people let alone six.The heating was night storage heaters and were inadequate to heat such a large house, the dimplex heater just above the bathroom door was a fire hazard.Luckily there was ample coal and wood to make the lounge warm at night but took a while to get going not really what you want to do when you come back having had a nice meal out
,The plus points were the down stairs bed was warm and comfortable. This house needs updating i.e there is ample room to add a shower upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen needs modernizing and efficient heating throughout.
The house was well decorated and immaculately clean and Debbie was kind and helpful. The weather was bitterly cold but this house should not be let out in the winter as it is far too cold .We had to cut our holiday short and move to a warm hotel as we were so cold, We also felt there was too many personal possessions in drawers and no wardrobe at all in upstairs double room.
Beautiful house but needs lots of T.L.C to make this a suitable holiday home..

i was surprised to read this review as I make sure heaters and rugs and cardigans are available in case people need them. The nightstorage heaters ensure the nights are warm. I stay there myself and check everything is there for comfort and ease. Deborah is there to ask for anything or I am on the end of the line.i think with communication this letting would have been remedied .Annabel
