“A beautiful home with a spectacular view of the sea!”
Reviewed 11 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed at Birdsong for three nights in March and it was perfect. It's a large house that accommodates big groups, so we never felt on top of each other. It has everything you could possibly need; multiple bathroom facilities, a big kitchen and living room and a pool/football table to keep us occupied after a long walk or while waiting for the rain to clear. We immediately felt at home. Best of all was the view of the sea which is breathtaking and totally unexpected.

The house is a short walk to the white sandy beach and blue sea. Definitely one of the UK's hidden gems. St.Ives is also a lovely little place and I especially enjoyed my trip to the Barbara Hepworth museum and sculpture gardens - not to be missed if you are a fan of her work or sculptures generally!

I hope to visit again very soon!

“Beautiful beach-side holiday home”
Reviewed 7 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Beautiful home in a stunning location.

Minutes from Carbis Bay along the lovely south west coast path (accessed right at the bottom of the garden). About 15 minutes to St Ives town. The house boasts breathtaking views onto the sea. The house itself has everything you need and more. 2 master bedrooms with en-suites and 2 bedrooms (both with 2 x single beds) open out onto an amazing socialising/gaming area with a pool table, table football and comfy chairs (again with great views). The upstairs has comfy sofas, a large table for eating/playing games and a open plan kitchen. There is also a balcony which opens out onto the expansive sea views. Sit on the comfy love-chair with a glass of wine and watch the turquoise sea melt into the horizon.

A MUST VISIT!

“Excellent holiday home overlooking beautiful bay!”
Reviewed 6 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Modern, comfortable home with everything you need. Great view over the bay and out to sea, which is a short walk away. Shop less than 5 mins walk, St Ives not far. Would recommend highly!

We stayed here for a week for a family birthday - and had a great time.

Although a fair trek out of town (one member of the party thought the homeward hill got longer every day!), the size and layout of the house meant that there was plenty of room for everyone. The easy parking was very handy too, as it meant we could go out and not worry about where to park on our return. (Not like St Ives centre, where if you can find a space you stay there for the week!)

The accommodation was excellent, with everything provided - and Tesco just up the road.

And then the views! just to sit and enjoy early in the morning, or during the day, or in the evening ... just great.

A lovely place, highly recommended.

“Loved it”
Reviewed 10 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Four of us stayed in this huge comfortable house and had a lovely week. Well situated for St Ives which is a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the harbour.
The views from the house are splendid and the gardens, games (pool/table football/pingpong), washing/drying facilities were all well appreciated.
I suppose the ultimate question is would we stay again. The answer is YES!
