I decided to give Coast a go as, being vegetarian, I like to support people who make an effort. My room was on the top floor with a sea view - gorgeous coastal panorama. The room was clean and tidy with everything I needed. The rooms are pretty compact but well decorated and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in anywhere. There are tea and coffee making facilities as well as freeview tv.
Paula runs the kitchen and is absolutely lovely. She made the effort to go "off menu" for me at breakfast (lovely veggie sausage sarnie) and is incredibly laid back. The breakfast room is lovely and chilled out with lots of art work and a sofa. This is definitely the place to hang out if you want to use the wi-fi as you're out of luck using it from the top floor as the connection doesn't travel that far. One of the couples staying requested that dinner be cooked every night as the Bean Inn Restaurant is closed now for the winter. Paula asked if I also wanted evening meals so I did opt for this one night and the food was delicious. I really felt as if nothing was too much trouble.
I will definitely stay at Coast again in future and will recommend it to anyone else (veggie or not) for a stay if in Cornwall.More
